Dr Bernstein is knowledgeable , caring and friendly, so is her staff. After 3 years of being her patient, I needed a total hysterectomy which she performed perfectly and I recovered quickly, without any problems. She always encourage questions and she is totally honest and clear. She is one of my favorite physicians, would recommend her to any one without doubts.

I have been going to Dr Bernstein for 5 years and have always been very happy! She is very friendly and if you tell her you have questions she takes the time to sit with you and answer them. Her nurse is also very helpful, when I have called between appts with a question the nurse always calls me back the same day, usually has the answer available and when she doesn't she gets back to me with the answer within 1-2 days. If you call and are very worried about an issue they get you in right away, otherwise it can take a week or so to get appt. I am in the first trimester of my first pregnancy and Dr Bernstein has been great! Sitting with me to answer any and all questions, encouraging me to have more next time, providing LOTS of printed information to take home. The only thing I don't like is they have no lab there, you have to go to Quest for all lab work which is annoying. Yes she is busy, but not moreso than any other doctor and her personality more than makes up for it!

Best OB/GYN!!! She was extremely caring. She took the time to explain things. Her nurse was wonderful. I highly recommend her. I have many friend who go to her and they all love her.

Staff: no one knows anything about checking if our insurance will cover procedures. I got transferred so many times, put on hold ect.I had to call the insurance company for them, they don't do anything to help you. NOW: Dr. Rachel Bernstein: very abrupt, didn't "listen" to what I was saying. She kept saying "oh, I'll just say this or that" ... now I'm worried sick if my insurance will cover her lack of work! Everyone, please check other options before coming to this place. You will have to do everything yourself except the exam.

While I have always been happy with Dr. Bernstein during my yearly exams, I am extremely unhappy after going through an experience where I actually needed her. It was extremely difficult to make an appointment, and I was unable to get ahold of her nurse every time I called. I was pushed into taking tests I didn't need, which thankfully I wasn't charged for. I was told that my results would be back in 2-3 days. They took 7 full days to get back to the office and reviewed. I had to call the nurse myself, which of course I had to leave a message, to get my results. She only gave me the result to one test, sent my prescription to the pharmacy, where I found that I was prescribed the most expensive method of treatment ($125). I was not given any explanation of my diagnosis or any tips on prevention. I just received my lab bill' which is over $500. I was never told this would be an expensive test, and the doctor is aware I am not currently insured. I am currently looking for a new OB/GYN.

if you are looking for a docter that has time for her patients and takes time to explain things to you...this is not the one!! will not recommend her....

Best OBGYN doctor hands down! Knowledgable and kind. I don't feel rushed when I ask her questions or seek her advice. She helps take the edge off of doctors visits by caring about what you have to say.

Dr.Berstein is one of the more caring physicians in the area. She knows how to listen, spents more than adequate time with you so you have all of your worries and concerns answered and extremely qualified. I always walk away from visits with her feeling much more calm than when I entered due to her easy bed side manner and the complete workup she gives. Highly recommend her to anyone
