There is no communication. I’ve had to leave several messages that are not always returned. When you do hear from one of the office staff , she is nasty.
I will not go back !!!

As a possible cancer patient, I have never been treated with such disrespect and refusal to help me while trying to make a doctors appointment. The receptionist was rude , said they didn't take my plan and that I would be a cash patient. I informed her that I had looked them up under my insurance website under my ID number which ONLY brings up doctors that are currently taking my plan. She refused to make the appointment told me that i could call my insurance with their NPI and make sure they took my plan. I worked in various doctors' offices over the past 15 years as a medical receptionist and we were NEVER allowed to refuse to verify a patient's insurance benefits. Its actually easier for the medical provider to verify a patient's benefits under their own NPI, then for a patient to do so. Just plain laziness rudeness. I've already made a formal compliant with Aetna who was just as surprised as I that I was refused an appointment. Apparently a mole that you've had your whole life suddenly doubling in size in the past few months, isn't of concern to them.

Worst place ever. Their recording says The place where our patients are our first priority!!" is all lies. After waiting weeks for a predetermination to go through.. All while Going back n fourth between their pharmacy and the insurance company....everyone pointing fingers as to why its been over 3 weeks and my daughter still hasnt gotten her script for her medication..IM pretty much done with this place. Ohhh yes and to top it all off, the only way to get intouch with this place is thru a text site they have their patients on...if you have a question...you gotta text!!...as soon as you walk in a medical assistant takes all your info on his ipad. The Doc sees you and youll never hear from them unless you text them on their secure site!!!thank God i found a new spot that actually squeezed me in to their busy schedule.. that actually cares about their patients!! Mind you as this is all unfolding...my daughters acne has gotten progressively worst...she went in as a walk in to figure out her meds situation and the predetermination that no one sent, and was told to go to cvs without even calling in the prescription for her...as she drove all the way there...20 so min....Mariwalla never called in the script!! Im BEYOND UPSET!!! What a shame... i work in the medical field as a RN...to think this place is run by medical professionals..u better Run the other way!!! One star because i cant post negative 100

My first 2 appointments she seemed great, that went down hill fast. Extremely neglectful. They don't keep accurate records, and get patients confused. She will have you come in and forget why you are there, and look at you like you are the crazy one.. Don't walk people RUN for your life. Go anywhere but this office. Totally disrespectful and disorganized.

VERY pleased with the care received by Dr. Mariwalla. She was so knowledgeable it seemed she diagnosed my skin condition & another medical condition within the first 3 seconds. The entire exam was longer than that, but I think she was just confirming what she already knew. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Mariwalla is amazing. Her staff is very attentive and even though I had a wait before getting into the exam room it was worth it! She never made me feel rushed and I feel like even though she is a dermatologist she knows about everything. I've never had as much confidence in a doctor as I have had in her. If you can be a patient in this practice I urge you to. I spent a year suffering with a condition on my lip and 6 - yes, 6 - dermatologists kept telling me the same thing. Dr. Mariwalla came in and in 4 minutes literally knew exactly what I had and three weeks later I'm cured.

I came to see Dr. Mariwalla after I had seen 3 other dermatologists who could not figure out what I had. She walked into the room and it took her no time at all. She knew exactly what I had, how to treat it and now 3 weeks later my skin is clear for the first time in 1 year. I thought she was amazing and would recommend her to everyone I know.

I was a patient of advanced dermatology for years,that being said, I am now a patient of the sweetest kindest and most thorough dermatologist I have ever seen. My full body check was amazing, she started a my toes and ended with my scalp and mouth. I have never encountered that type of exam and felt very confident when I left.I have recommended her to all my friends and they are in full agreement that she is amazing!!!! BTW she is up on the latest and greatest procedures to boot !!!!

I have been to other dermatologists and none can compare! She is professional, caring, compassionate, and a wonderful person. I have recommended others to her because of the greta experiences that I have had and everyone is extremely pleased. All Doctors should be like her.

She is caring, knowledgeable, sweet, awesome and one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my life. She is the daughter of my kid's pediatrician. I suffered with acne for 41 years until I visited her. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Mariwalla. I have twin teenage daughters who also see her. She is one of the best dermatologist on Long Island. I recommend her to everyone I know. She is efficient with her diagnoses.
