Appeared disinterested and not focused on my visit. She was recommended by my primary care physician, so she's probably a very good doctor but not big on bedside manners.

Dr. Dobbins-Sood is a wonderful doctor. She is knowledgeable and does her job. I appreciated her not getting all emotional when I was pregnant and dealing with additional stressful personal issues; it helped me to figure out how to handle the stress without meds. She is quite matter-of-fact and that is what I like in a doctor and what I needed. She listened to my needs and concerns before and during my pregnancy, and after delivery and I have a very healthy wonderful baby boy. Thank you.

I am 21 weeks pregnant with my second child. I saw Dr. Dobbins today because I was having high blood pressure and vision problems among a list of other symptoms. She was not friendly and did not act like she was even listening. She showed absolutely no response to anything I told her and offered no suggestions as to the cause of my high blood pressure (I already take medication twice a day per another doctor in the office.) She told me to do a 24 hour urine collection but then never even bothered to send the orders to the lab despite sending me off to go pick up the kit. I felt that she did not spend adequate time with me to access my health problems. I did not like my visit with her and am hoping she is not the one in the delivery room! Because of her, I am HIGHLY considering a new OBGYN office, one who does not risk the safety of myself or my unborn child because the doctor is disinterested in the patients!

I saw Dr. Dobbins in August 2012 for a regular exam and to discuss some issues. I found her to be very knowledgeable about my issues and she made the appropriate referral to another specialist who turned out to be excellent. I was actually surprised at how much time she spent with me- answered all my questions and even empathized a little and shared a personal experience of her own. I will go back to her again this year and would feel comfortable recommending her to a friend or family member. I do agree that the wait times at WellStar are long, and the front desk staff is not always prompt or very friendly, but this isn't really the doctor's fault.

I was in at the office for 2.5 HOURS!!!! I saw a nurse and the dr. For about 35 minutes of that!!!! While she seems nice, she is very stiff and a little unfriendly!!

Dr. Dobbins' bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. I went in for a yearly checkup and to ask some questions about some existing health issues I had been having. During our visit, I became emotional about my ongoing health issues and I was looking for help and reassurance from her. The way she looked at me made me feel like I had 5 heads. I mentioned the fact that I was dealing with some anxiety and was currently withdrawing off my meds (a decision I came to with help from my therapist, psychiatrist, and primary care physician). Dr. Dobbins told me that because I was getting emotional and upset about my ongoing health issues, it's "a very bad idea to go off my medicine." I thought, so essentially, she thinks that getting upset over health issues that worry me is abnormal and I should be on meds. Ridiculous in my opinion. Dr. Dobbins made me feel like an alien. Based on her reaction to me, I decided she is not the best doctor for me and I will be looking for better one.
