Biography

Dr. Brooke Friedman is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is the author of several published book chapters, and has presented award-winning research at national meetings, in addition to presenting her published articles from peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Friedman is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Dr. Friedman graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Pre-Medical Studies in 2001. She then attended the University of California San Francisco Medical School, where she graduated Alpha Omega Alpha – a distinction awarded only to a small fraction of medical students. Dr. Friedman went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She was invited to remain at Stanford in order to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. At the conclusion of Dr. Friedman’s time at Stanford, she received multiple awards in teaching as well as an award for her laparoscopic surgical skills. With a reputation for delivering warm, personalized care to each and every patient, Dr. Friedman’s dedication to comprehensive, effective and compassionate family building is evident. She is committed to offering cutting-edge treatment in order to maximize each patient’s chance of success. Through her work as a fertility specialist, Dr. Friedman has been recognized by her patients with several awards, including Vitals’ “Patients’ Choice Award”, the “Compassionate Doctor Recognition” award, and the “Top Ten Physicians” award. Her scientific areas of interest include: optimizing embryo transfer technique, recurrent pregnancy loss, diminished ovarian reserve, depression treatment, and infertility outcomes.
