Run from this Dr..and the rude hateful gals in the office that answer phones, and ignore any requests to get a message to Welsch. She made me worse by constantly changing meds and combinations and dosage. Best thing I did was to leave with zero guilt as I felt my life was in danger by continuing to go to this place. There are others out there.. Thank goodness I found one by a lot of research and being on his waiting list! Take care please.. Listen to your gut.... !!

I was referred to this office by my primary care physician for PTSD, stress and anxiety. I had been through some traumatic things and my life was almost destroyed from stress and the PTSD was severe. Just to make it clear, my case was urgent, and I cried through my first appointment the entire time. She basically prescibed me Prozac and wouldn't listen to me that I can't take that class of medicines. They make me worse. She wouldn't listen. She actually cut me off during one apppointment when I was telling her how I was feeling so hopeless and like I couldn't take it anymore- that appointment only lasted 10 minutes. So, I found another doctor then quit seeing her. This new doctor found several other classes of medicines that I CAN take that don't make me worse- some of the other medicines this doctor had given me gave me nightmares and my pharmacist said it was known side effect. Why would you give a medicine that causes violent nightmares to a patient who is seeing you for nightmares

This was the most traumatic experience I have had in my life. This comes from someone who grew up in medical family & served 15 years as a paramedic. I felt degraded, the office was unresponsive for a week in refilling medications I had been on for 2 years that could cause fatal seizures if stopped abruptly. My therapist had to call their office twice finally asking to speak to office manager after being rudely hung up on by nurse. I was then terminated by doctor because therapist called about getting medications refilled. Would recommend any patient looking for a caring, responsible and compassionate doctor to not seek care with Dr Welsch.
