I had cataract surgery in Oct/Dec of 2015 and I was very very nervous, Dr Mandelberg told me everything that was going to happen and put me at ease...also during the surgery he was telling me everything that he was doing and that helped a lot also. I am grateful for his kindness and professional ism

Dr. Mandelberg is wonderful! He explains everything that is going to happen in a cheerful charming manner. His staff at the surgical center are all experienced and highly professional. I was so delighted with the overall experience that I'm having my other eye done by Dr. Mandelberg. :-)

Dr. Mandelberg performed Cataract Surgery on Both eyes. The process and the outcome was exceptional. I recommend everyone to him. He kept me informed during the surgery.
I thought this was reassuring as to what I was going to feel prior to feeling it.

I have been going to this office since the late fifties or early sixties. The doctor who opened the practice was my next door neighbor, and he treated not only my family but many others in my neighborhood. His name was Jack Fields, MD, and he was not only an exceptional eye doctor and surgeon, but had a brilliant and witty mind. He made his office a fun place to go as he always had a great new joke to tell. After he retired in the mid-eighties, he turned over the practice to Dr. Alan Mandelberg, who has since enlarged and improved the physical surroundings and hired several other extremely competent and friendly doctors who have different specialties within the eye care sphere. Dr. Mandelberg not only accomplished this changeover without inconveniencing his patients, but he has managed to maintain the original warm and friendly atmosphere established by founder Dr. Fields. Dr. Mandelberg himself is a well-respected, brilliant physician with a warm and engaging personality. Going to A Center for VisionCare is a pleasant and comfortable experience all the way around. The entire staff is highly competent, well-trained and personable. There is adequate parking in the rear and a pharmacy in the same building.

Amazing staff, wonderful doctor! Had two eye surgeries with Dr. Mandelberg, and I never felt so taken care of. Everything, all instructions were laid out for me. No worries with this practice. And Dr. Mandelberg is so kind, great bedside manner, explains everything! I left another practice because I was dissatisfied, and I'm so glad I did!

This Doctor performed Cataract surgery on me, he and his staf were very helpfull before and after, this is the second eye he has done for me and I am seeing better than ever.

In 2002 Dr. Mandelberg did cataract surgery on my eyes. I lived in Moorpark, CA but it was worth the drive to receive the best care possible for my eyesight (precious to me). He also cares for my husband's pressure in his eyes. He is the doctor for me and my family. An excellent surgeon. God bless him and his skills.
