Dr Bagert was a very caring and understanding doctor when I first began to see her for Multiple Sclerosis 10 yrs ago. She is now very dismissive and unwilling to listen to any of my new concerns or MS related symptoms unless I am following her medical program only without caring if her recommendations are creating a worse problem for the patient. I am currently looking for another neurologist with hopes of finding a more caring individual.

Although I believe Dr Bagert is extremely knowledgeable in her field she refuses to deviate in any way from the script given her. Hence you get the same old same old with no innovation. Since her move to Ochsner I believe that her level of care has decreased. Where she used to be more compassionate, listen and ask more questions now it's just a routine of in and out, run them through like cattle. With Ochsner time is money and she does not have the time to make Ochsner enough money. It is a shame but they, doctors, have all come to this very model. Her staff is not her staff they all work for Ochsner and therefore you have to deal with what you get. Unfortunately the patient and Dr. Bagert have been forced into corporate medicine at its best or worst-you decide. The patient is no longer a person they are just a number with a dollar figure stamped on their forehead. Sorry to say, although I like Dr. Bagert I hate Ochsner and therefore I'm researching my options, because since her move to Ochsner I'm very unhappy with my level of care, I feel it has fallen off exponentially.

My experience with Dr. Bagert has been very pleasant. She always seems to be very concerned for my condition. I found her very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I can talk to her about any of my concerns without judgement. I would recommend making an appointment.

Excellent doctor. Takes time to answer your questions. Thinks outside the box. Was able to treat my condition when all other neurologists had basically given up.

I cannot agree with the last rating. I found Dr. Bagert very professional and courteous. She was very thorough and explained in detail what she saw and diagnosed. Sent me for additional tests. I found Dr. Bagert one of the better Doctors due to her knowledge and compassion. A jewel!

No imagination and less compassion. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is the best and 1 is the worst, I'd give her a -2. She manages to combine arrogance with flippancy. She's young AND a know-it-all. She doesn't listen and I sense that she also doesn't really care. She isn't helpful. She isn't creative. Your issues are not of interest to her. YOU are not of interest to her. Your pain is not her pain. If you are looking for help, skip this one. She want's nice, simple, easy to solve cases. Anything complicated just annoys her.
