This is the same person with the last comment about torsion. I noticed my overall rating was 2 stars and I have to say that the only thing I gave more than one star to was the staff. Please do not consider my rating 2 stars. I would have given zero if possible. Dr. Drexler is the scariest person ever.

Dr. Drexler almost killed me. I had torsion and a dead ovary inside me when I was only 19 years old (2007) and for months he prescribed me an antipsychotic and percocet because he thought I was imagining the pain (yet somehow wanted to offer painkillers to help it, and at such a young age!?). Turns out I was very, very ill, and despite my numerous pleas, and pleas from my parents, he wouldn't give me an ultrasound. I ended up having to be hospitalized for weeks and moved to UCSF, and in the end, lost the ovary and tube. This man has a reputation in the local medical community as a killer. DO NOT EVER TRUST YOUR LIFE OR THE LIFE OF YOUR UNBORN CHILD WITH THIS HORRIBLE DOCTOR. I just hope someone will read this and choose never to risk their lives by putting them in his care.

I had an ectopic pregnancy which he diagnosed at ovarian cyst. I almost died. Not a great doctor

I had to find a new Doctor and went looking...I found Dr. Drexler and called and asked if he would be willing to meet me before I decided to choose him as my Doctor/obgyn. He graciously agreed (Doctor's time is valuable so I was impressed he was willing to take this time for me). We met and we discussed my fears and how I felt about my pregnancy. In the end I felt very comfortable with him. He took very good care of me and my pregnancy, he was very respectful of how I wanted my delivery but was clear in keeping me informed and reasonable about my expectations. I could not have asked for a better delivery. It combined all of the elements I needed. Dr. Drexler tailored the experience to my needs. A very compassionate Doctor. Dr. Drexler and his staff were wonderful. I am very happy to have found him.
