Dr. Venter doesn't forget who anyone is, but if you're a jerk, who wants to acknowledge you? Doctors in this town are too overworked to put up with people who come in for every little sniffle. This doctor is very helpful and if he doesn't have the answer, he gets it. He spends extra time with his patients and even accepts home calls which most doctors don't do nowadays. If you're a serious patient who doesn't waste his time with baloney, he's there in a heartbeat. He just doesn't dispense painkiller at the drop of a hat and that is why some people in this town don't like him. It is our family's experience that Dr. Venter is kind and patient with children and most look forward to seeing him. Punctuality is not his fault. Our town is seriously understaffed in doctors. This man works very long hours and is dedicated to Chetwynd. Folks need to give him a break or we're going to lose one of the best doctors we've ever had.

I would recommend this doctor for anyone who has children, as well as general practioner. This doctor will do his best to find out what is wrong, and if he cannot figure out the problem, he will make sure and do a referral to a specialist in the area of the problem you are indicating. Very respectful and always kind, very approachable about any issue

Dr. Venter is the best doctor I have met at any time, he tries very hard to be sociable with all his patients. He has dealt with me and both my kids I would reccomend him to any one. He is an awesome person and an excellent doctor. He is reasonable, very explanative, and always puts out his time, at the hospital he is fast and curtious.

He is one of the best doctors that I think Chetwynd has ever had. You can call him at home anytime and he will always be very helpful. He has helped my family in all situations. I have relatives on the Island and they cannot believe that Dr. Venter is that caring. He comes highly recommeded from the top Neurological? surgeon in Edmonton. I am very glad that he is my family doctor.

One of the most caring and competent Doctors that I've ever had. Yes, he's overworked and stressed, as are all the doctors in our little town. However he doesn't let that affect his work. I trust him, and hope he'll stay with us for many years.
