Care and patience were given to get the right diagnosis. I liked that. Dr. Cannon seems very much in his prime. I am back for my 2nd surgery... little scarring from the surgery was left. I think he is one of the best int he Athens area of Georgia.

I put off gall bladder surgery for almost 2 years and actually cancelled the appointment I finally made with Dr. Cannon. My gasterologist asked me to just talk to Dr. Cannon. I did and was so glad I went to the appointment. Dr. Cannon walked me through the purpose of the gall bladder, my condition and what to expect from surgery. He spend almost 15 minutes with me addressing my questions and concerns. The surgery and my recovery has been exactly as he said. I would use Dr. Cannon again.

Seemed to delegate everything he could to his PA. Kept patient sedated waiting for him 2 hours and 45 minutes before surgery and completed two procedures in an approximately 45 minute surgery. When post op problems arose, he sent patient message through his receptionist that it was not his problem and to consult a different specialist. Specialist confirmed that the problem was caused by trauma of the surgery. Called to reschedule post op that was to be held three weeks after surgery. He just seemed to busy to fool with this patient.

He is the best surgeon and doctor you could ever hope for. Because of him, my cancer was found at an extremely early stage. He visited me in the hospital every day and spent time answering my every question. He's the type of doctor all should aspire to become.
