After a few visits to the Dr. a cleaning appointment was coming due, hence i proceeded to schedule an appointment for the second day of Oct. Several weeks later, we received a call to push the appointment to the 29th of the month, to insure that the cleaning is covered by our insurance (Very nice if the office i thought). The 29th was quick to arrive, and we headed to the office with our daughter to complete the cleaning. Once it was over, they receptionist said we owe Approx $196, for what? for cleaning. Well I asked, why did we push the initial appointment, if there was going to be charge anyways? She responds with, we never know if your treatment is covered (what? hmm. tell me why you call the insurance provider ahead of the appointment, I thought). This is not the first dentist I've been too, each and everyone calls the insurance provider ahead of time, to insure that coverage is available. The only advice I have for the Dr's office is, if you plan to rip us off, make up a better excuse. Time to find a different Dr

After talking to 10 different Dentists, seeing two separate Specialists, I finally found a Dentist who could help my toddler daughter with two rotten teeth. It was already very traumatic for me to have to deal with the issue and to top it, finding a good Dr that would stand by my wishes. Dr Maggie Davis is a diamond in the rough here in Florida. She's very understanding, communicates very well and has great sayings to keep the kiddos interested in getting their teeth handled. I felt completely safe, understood and my daughter loved her. I have already recommended Dr Maggie to a number of friends and I believe after all the Dentists I've seen that she's the best in this area. The staff are also so professional and understanding and they gave me a great rate for paying cash.
