Dr. Winston is patient and explains everything to me. I told him that I don't want anything that will be addictive, as I am a single mom. If I am not comfortable with something, then I communicate that to him and he really listens! I told him that if I don't like what I am on, then I won't take it, and that it doesn't benefit me to have something that I won't take. He always tells me to call him if I need to before I leave each appointment. He always asks me detailed questions too, which I thought that really good. I completely understand that some medications don't work over night and that it takes time, months sometimes, and what works for every individual, may not for others. Glad that I found him!

I have referred a number of my patients to Dr. Winston. These patients are all vey pleased with him. He is is very knowledgeable about medications -He is also very responsive to emergency calls. As I understand from my patients, he spends a considerable amount of time with them and listens to them. I totally disagree with the past review. If someone is going to take charge of their medication then they have no use for seeing this physician. He sees some of my more difficult patients to treat and has been on top of everything. I highly recommend him.

I started seeing him after a traumatic experience in my life. All the meds he gave me did not work. He kept adding more meds event though I said to him I only want to take one. His assistant is so out to lunch, I have to call there many times to get the meds called in right. But most importantly, is that even though I have been on this one med because I refuse to take the rest and it's a small dose, he insists on me coming in for monthly appointments so he can get the 300 plus my co pay. I pleaded that I only see him for 10 minutes when I come in and nothing changes. He said he will cut me off if I don't come in monthly. This med that I'm on takes many months to taper off. His threats made me realize he is in it only for the money and does not care about his patients at all.

I was diagnosed by Dr. Winston with depression and put on medication. This medication made my condition worse, causing suicidal thoughts. His receptionist is impossible to get a hold of, so I had lapsed my meds by 2 weeks (because I didn't want to be on them). After I explained the reasoning for this he simply wrote me a new prescription for the same meds. I chose to not take them, nor see him again. He could have cost me my life. This man is not here to listen to you and your concerns, he simply wants your money. If you're a pill popper, he's your guy!! If you actually are seeking real treatment, find somebody else!

No staff. Billed insurance $300 and swiped his smart phone with credit card payment of 189.68 as deductible not met. My daughter was referred by psychologist with thought that Rx might be given for anxiety when needed but not on a daily basis. He disagreed with psychologist and made his diagnosis after 20 minutes stating that an antidepressant should be taken and if she refused he would not continue care. Spent part of this short visit talking about his bloody diarrhea from meds he took.

Dr. Winston is a highly intelligent psychiatrist who is very educated in tailoring a drug regimen that is individualized and effective. He put me on the right combination of medication and I have never felt better. His staff is great and is always polite and returns phone calls quickly. I cannot thank Dr. Winston enough for helping me get on the right medication.

Dr Winston is very professional, very knowledgeable and very empathetic. He is also very thorough while determining the diagnosis and very knowledgeable of the treatment options. He is one the best doctors I have ever seen and the results have been excellent. I would highly recommend him and I have to my friends and associates knowing that they will pleased with his services.

I agree with the previous review; This doctor just has his script pad ready to go- and doesn't really care about under lying issues. If you're looking for an accurate diagnosis- don't see this doctor. If you want to be medicated- Give him a call.

Met with this doctor today for the first time and had such a wonderful experience. He was the second doctor I had seen for my problem and he was so different.. So much better, personal, there to help me and answer questions I had, Great Dr. ! I look forward to working with him as my doctor, thankful I found him! I wanted to share with others my great experience!
