I assume he knows his stuff and is a good doctor. I've seen him several times.... but... I'm deaf/hard of hearing with a cochlear implant. I struggle with understanding speech from others. Dr. Patel is one. I have a very hard time understanding what he is saying to me. I've asked him to pull his mask down so I can see his mouth and whole face so I know what he's saying. I don't think he has an accent, yet he's still hard to understand. Actually, understanding most people is common for me.

He REFUSES to move his mask down so I can understand better. A doctor, ESPECIALLY, should be well aware of the ADA / Americans with Disabilities Act, yet he does not abide to the ADA.

Dr. Patel was very thorough and very commpasionate and actually listened to what I have to say. He saved my life while I was having a heart attack.
