Dr. Szafranski is awesome. He is professional and very outgoing. I really like his bedside manners, too. He performed surgery on me and removed my gallbladder. He has a great sense of humor. The day of my surgery, he did his best to put me at ease since I was nervous to begin with. I highly recommend him. His staff is also very nice. - Durand.

He was very personable, friendly, and amusing. I felt very confident going in on such short notice with my surgery (gallbladder removal). My appt was at 11:15am and I was checked into the hospital (Edward in Naperville) by 1:30. My follow up appointment at the office to get my drain removed also went well. I'd give Dr. Szafranski an A++

He is an A+++. Very personable, patient and answered all my questions. Also has a very good sense of humor. Very comforting on day of surgery. I had my gallbladder removed. Excellent experience compared to other surgeries I've had. Very little pain or discomfort from the gas used on laparoscopic surgery. I had my surgery at the Plainfield Surgery Center. They were wonderful too. I am so impressed with the whole experience so far. Don't be fooled that he seems young, he was excellent! I will definitely use him for my colonoscopy.

Dr Szafranski was personable, Efficient, caring, professional and approachable. He operated on me and the results were great. Problem was resolved and recovery was minimal.Would recommend him for Surgery if you need a surgeon.

Wonderful,wonderful,wonderful! Had my baseline colonoscopy this week, I chose Dr.Szafranski because Dr.Klade, my previous surgeon doesn't do these. The staff,the location (new wing @ Rush-Copley) everything was perfect, after the gallon bottle of "roto-rooter" was done <giggle>. All went very well, in and out in less than 4 hours. Dr. Szafranski has a "PREFECT" bedside manner (looks you in the eye and a firm handshake, A++ in my book). Another satisfied patient.

WAS ON CALL SUNDAY 10/21/2012 WHEN I NEEDED MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED. MY FAMILY DR & GI DR USE SURGEONS FROM THIS PRACTICE AND I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD DR JOO FOR MY APPENDIX. DR SZAFRANSKI CAME TO THE ER AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US IN DETAIL.I AM PRO ACTIVE IN MY LONG LIST OF COMPLICATED HEALTH ISSUES SO I UNDERSTOOD ALOT OF WHAT HE WAS SAYING. HE WAS READY AND WALKING AROUND PRE OP BEFORE I HAD SEEN THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST! SURGERY TOOK 35 MINUTES, HE REMOVED MY INFLAMED GALLBLADDER, CAME BACK TO THE HOSPITAL THE NEXT MORNING TO SEE AND DISCHARGE ME. I WAS A BIT NERVOUS HAVING A NEW YOUNG SURGEON BUT EVERYTHING HAS GONE VERY WELL SO FAR:-))))))
