I recently had a colonoscopy performed by Dr. Walden. I visited him to address chronic constipation and abdominal pain. My colon appeared healthy, so I asked Dr. Walden if my constipation could be due to IBS. He stated that, if I had IBS, I would have diarrhea, not constipation - as if there’s no such thing as IBS-C? He also ordered blood work to test for celiacs disease, when I had informed him, both verbally and in writing, that I have not eaten gluten in almost 20 years. From what I’ve gathered, blood tests for celiac disease are not accurate unless the patient has been ingesting gluten for a while.

Very pleasant to work with. Helped out with my stomach acid issues. Had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy with him and it went very well.

Very nice doctor. Although he's a fast talker and I'm always aware of his time crunch, Dr Walden addresses every question and concern thoroughly. He never makes ME feel rushed. He has a very good manner in the office and for my several colonoscopies. Very skilled communication, very knowledgeable, very nice to family post-procedure. He found a colon cancer and arranged everything ASAP for me,(more tests, surgeon consult, all notification, advice, help, etc)
