Appalling social manners just on a phone consult. Do not recommend.

I went to Dr. Strom for help with TMS, with an underlying autoimmune condition (at the time, I did not know I had the autoimmune condition with any certainty). Despite billing me, he deferred entirely to my rheumatologist and, to my mind, punted on the TMS treatment. In hindsight, I needed focused, assured treatment for stress and emotions (anger) underlying the inflammation issue. This is exactly what Dr. Sarno spent his career promoting. I felt like Dr. Strom did not offer enough TMS treatment, and what was offered was not helpful. I should have gone directly to Dr. Sarno. I would hope that, in the future, Dr. Strom would gain a deeper understanding of Dr. Sarno's ideas and do whatever he can to be a proxy for that great physician. Emotional stress is the issue. I now know that, but had to find it out on my own.
