Dentist talks about himself too much and appointments are too long Runs behind so always wait

While this dentist is very knowledgeable and friendly in person, he does not return phone calls or follow through with patient referrals/questions for weeks, sometimes months on end. I have waited for a month at a time for a response on at least 3 separate occasions, while calling frequently. Office visits are never rushed, but there is very poor follow-through and little respect for a patient's time in waiting to know test results or the next step in the course of treatment.
