From the initial office visit Dr. Clavijo made me feel comfortable. He was very professional yet has an amazing sense of humor that set me at ease. He explained the procedure in detail. He never made me feel like he was rushing to the next patient; he always took his time. On the day of surgery he again offered to answer any questions I still had. On the day of surgery he personally called me a few hours after I got home to check on my pain. A few days after my first postop visit I had a concern and he addressed it immediately himself, not through a message from a staff member. He is truly a unique and amazing physician and I highly recomend him!

I had a unique issue because I was losing my insurance in 2 weeks from my initial appointment and I was worried that I would not be able to have at least the Septoplasty paid for by my insurance. He was VERY down to earth and extremely personable. His sense of humor is great and he treated me with respect. He took my concerns extremely serious. Dr. Clavijo and his staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND in getting my pre-op evaluations, billing and surgery scheduling done in an impressive short amount of time, considering I was losing my health insurance very soon. Dr. Clavijo made me feel very comfortable with his great sense of humor and personality. The anesthesiology team was also AMAZING! Dr. Clavijo actually held my hand before I went under because I was very scared. The recovery nurses where also amazing! Dr. Clavijo called me at home later that day after surgery to make sure I was ok and how my pain was. He really took the time to show me that he actually cared about my well being.

Dr. Clavijo is an excellent surgeon. I went to him with a crooked nose and septum. I expected only the alignment to be fixed but he fixed so much more that I didn't even realize was wrong with my nose/sinus area. The surgery cured my migraines and dental pain. I now breath clearer though my nose than I ever believed possible. I even wake in the morning more refreshed! Dr.C is a very caring doctor and was very easy to get in touch with if I had any question or concern. I would definately recommend him to any friend or family if they needed a similar procedure done.

On August 5, 2013, Dr. Clavijo removed fat from my inner thigh and then transferred the fat to my face. This was my second surgery with Dr. Clavijo. I have an autoimmune disease, which I feel as though has caused my face to thin/age prematurely. My face was so sunken that my eyes looked very puffy (like I was lacking sleep) at all times. I thought I needed help with the bags under my eyes, but he stated that I was lacking volume in my cheeks. Dr. Clavijo did some research prior to making any plans for any procedure on my face. 3 days out and I hardly have any bruising! I am in love with my new face and I am so happy with my decision to have this done. I feel comfortable in knowing that the fat in my face is my own and not synthetic. I highly recommend Dr. Clavijo for any plastic surgery procedure not only because of his skill, but because of his vision and compassion for you as his patient. I just cannot say enough about him as a person and a surgeon. Thank you Dr. Clavijo!

I have needed plastic surgery several times. Dr. Clavijo has done THE best work, by far. All 4 of my surgeries were done by the best area doctors (3 Greensburg, 1 Pittsburgh). I scar badly and the surgery he did on my face to remove a cyst is undetectable. If I challenge someone to find it, they locate the scar that was done 10 years ago by another top-of-the-field surgeon. They can't locate Dr. Clavijo's surgery unless I point it out. I will never go to someone else. This is the highest praise that I can give.

After many years of daily headaches and weekly migraines, I have found hope. Dr. Clavijo has given me a chance to live and enjoy my life with my family and friends. After hearing of a cure for migraines involving Botox and surgery on the Drs TV Show, I found out through research that Dr. Clavijo, a doctor 30 miles away from my home performed this procedure. Since receiving the injections on April 26, 2013, my life has been changed. I'm doing things that was impossible for years due to pain. It has been remarkable really. Since the injections, Dr. Clavijo and I are preparing for the migraine surgery. Words can't express how the change is living without constant pain.Dr. Clavijo took so much time explaining the procedures to a skeptical patient. He truly is changing my life, and my hope is that it can only get better. I am so thankful for him, his kindness and caring, and most of all his knowledge.

Dr. Clavijo is an excellent doctor. He was very caring and compassionate to my daughter. He provided knowledgeable information and took the time to explain procedure. He made two phone calls to check on her after the surgery. She felt very comfortable with his great sense of humor throughout the entire process. She is very happy with her scar revision.

Dr. Julio Clavijo-Alvarez is one of the best doctors that I have dealt with in my life. He helped me achieve the body of my dreams after weight-loss surgery, and he now treats me for small cosmetic matters. He is an excellent surgeon and is very thorough and precise in his work. He is also very, very generous with his time, attention and care. He truly cares about his patients whether he completed a big surgery (i.e., tummy tuck) or gave one a little Botox. I have recommended him to all of my girl friends and colleagues who will be looking to have a "mommy makeover".
