Dr. Baltzer is a black and white sort of person. Do not ask if u want a sugar coated answer. He knows his stuff and cares greatly about his patients. He has been my doctor for 30 years.

I have had Dr. Baltzer as my doctor since 1978 he is the GREATEST.I will not know what I will do if he retires.He is very caring,patient, polite,knowledgeable and easy to talk to no matter the issues. If I could award him the doctor of the Year I would.

In a field of medicine that expects its practitioners to be knowledgeable about many things, here is an uncommonly gifted man who knows a great deal about many fields of medicine. Dr. Baltzer is an exceptional diagnostician, bringing to the table his immense knowledge, his continuously updated medical information, his creative nature and his wonderfully intuitive mind. Coupled with this is his willingness to listen to his patients and an extremely efficient and well trained staff. I have known Dr. Baltzer since he first became a doctor, and have had the pleasure of watching him grow as a physician who is well respected throughout northern Michigan. I would recommend him to anyone as a primary physician they can trust to see the "whole patient." Dr. Baltzer knows his patients well, in spite of having a large practice. He sees the the patient as a person, respects his/her opinion and makes well considered referrals. He follows through on information from labs and tests. He is the best!
