My experience with Dr Khan was a nightmare. First of all, she came in to the room without knocking. For all she knew, I couldn't have still been undressing. I know that she's going to be looking at my private areas, but I still don't want her walking in on me naked.

I went to Dr Khan because I had been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst 2 days before at the Northbay ER, where they recommended I be seen by a OB/GYN within 2 days. She was the only doctor in fairfield I could see on such short notice.

She started off the appointment asking why I was there, since I didn't have an ovarian cyst. She said the ultrasound report from the ER was normal. Well the ER doctor had given me a copy of the report and I knew that was false. When I tried to correct her she cut me off and was very rude. She then told me she was going to do a pelvic exam, and I quote: "it's not going to be pleasant, but let's get it over with". After saying this she then jammed the speculum with such force it took my breath away. She then yelled at me for being tense! She scolded and yelled at me throughout the whole exam. It was very painful and traumatic. When she was done, she didn't give me anything to clean myself, so I had to put my underwear back on with lube all over myself. It was degrading and humiliating.

She walked back in the room, and told me that not only did I have a cyst, but it's large and might be cancer, and I needed an MRI. She then started writing a script for birth control pills without explaining anything. I have been told by my previous doctor that I am a poor candidate for hormonal birth control, so I said no. She then rushed out of the room with no further explanation.

I was expecting bad bedside manner due to reading previous reviews, but I am in physical pain after the exam I had with Dr Khan. Also, I do not trust anything she said with regards to my case, since she obviously just skimmed the ER report. I won't be getting the MRI done until I get a second opinion with a better doctor.

As far as the North Bay Women's Clinic goes, the facilities were nice and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I may go back to see one of their other doctors, who I'm sure are much better than Dr Khan.

Bottom line: if you have any other option, do not see Dr Khan!

Had her twice during my pregnancy when my doctor was not available.. Worst experience ever. My first visit she did my Pap smear and made me think I had cervic cancer and was almost positive. I cried for days until I got my results saying i was in the clear. My next visit she was so rude, walked into the room with what I'm guessing was a trainee (not sure because she didn't introduce him) and was maybe there for 2 minutes max. Didn't check me, measure me, go over anything.. NOTHING. She told me to get a vaccine and walked away and I had to call her back in to say "I had some questions". And she said what and interrupted me as I asked my first one and lefts. I felt like I didn't even have an appointment. I cried afterwards because I was having complications and waited for my appointment to get NOTHING answered or even have my baby checked out.

Very nice, she is on top of it, the wait was semi longer than expected yet she wasted no time and helped me started with testing for infertility issues. Very warm person. It was my first visit with her and it was great.

She did not listen to any of my concerns and didnt take me seriously. She actually asked me "What is your problem?" I saw her when I was 6 weeks pregnant and was the absolute worst experience for a first time mom. I had severe cramps all the way through my first 8 weeks and she completely dismissed my concerns and told me to drink water and take tylenol! She talked over me, yelled at me and made me cry when I asked for more information on why I kept having these cramps. I do not reccomend her at all. I switched doctors after the first appt. pick another doctor.
