Very nice and helpful! I have fatty liver, high cholesterol and pre-diabetes. My doctor gave me some rushed-one sentense- general nutrition advice. I had to seek nutrition specialist and Ms Nicolaides was the one! I am already losing weight and not feeling hungry. She is a professional. Doctors should refer patients like me to specialists like her not asking the doctor for one. I do recommend her!!!

Went to Ms. Nicolaides 4 months ago because my doctor discovered that I have Diabetes (a1c:9.3%).Highly recommended her and he said that if in 3 months of dieting my a1c dont drop, I'd ve to begin taking pills :(. Guess!!!! in actually less than 3 months my a1c dropped to 7.6%. We were both thrilled. I also lost 28 lbs which was a big plus for me. Her diets had so much food that i initially thought i'd gain weight. She was encouraging me to eat. learned portion control and taught me how to 1.DECIDE 2.COMMIT 3. SUCCEED!!! how wonderful consultations! I highly recommend her. Superb!!!

I was really very happy visiting Dr. Nicolaides. I had a very good experience with the staff that eventhough is my responsibility to have my referral prior to my appointment, both girls volunteered to help me by calling my doc's office and getting it. Very caring and fast pace. The office has a dermatologist as well and is extremely busy. I thank first the staff (if it wasnt for them i wouldnt 've seen the dietitian. I am so happy and glad I met her. I am doing great. I do not agree with the 3 bad reviews.Ms Nicolaides is so sweet and caring, willing to help you no matter what. And is extremely attentive...always listening and looking straight in your eyes.Very supportive.Her confidence gives me confidence that I can do this.Already lost 27lbs since july. I look/feel great. She is my consultant/advisor... I highly recommend her.

Mrs. Nicolaidis is a nutritionist not a doctor. When I visited her iwas very upset with the rude bahaviour of her staff and then by her. It seems she wants to be a doctor. she was not understanding and very demeaning. DONT GO TO HER!

Dr. Nicolaides is an exceptionally good dietitian/ nutritionist and the best for pre and post bariatric surgery. She explained to me everything that I needed to know, helped me loose about 65lbs prior to my surgery (was required to follow a diet prior surgery for insurance purposes) choose the proper surgeon and hospital for me. If you suffer from obesity or other medical conditions ( I also have diabetes), Dr. Nicolaides will help you. Dr. Nicolaides is the best dietitian in Astoria NY. I highly recommend her.
