Very good and caring. Staff not great and talk about patients at the desk!

Agreed that he's a good doctor but the staff are disgustingly inadequate and inefficient. One week for a prescription refill request and no action so far. He's forced to type during most of the visit to enter data requested by NYU Langone and insurance firms - preventing him from practicing medicine. It's a criminal imposition to have him work for management rather than help patients. I hope he can get away from this awful and corrupt situation.

Dr. Blau is a good doctor, let's start with that. However, any issue that needed to be resolved through his staff was very difficult. Needed some referrals recently and each one needed 2 or three calls. Twice sent to lab & MRI facility only to find out that they didn't take my insurance or didn't perform the type of test I needed. Asked for calls back from him regarding test results & he never even called. Just had to call five times to obtain referral. My next call was to my new primary doctor.

Extremely concerned, thorough, and knowledgeable. Concerned; thinks about your problem – and sometimes contacts you – after you're gone. Literally saved my wife's life (we're both patients) two years ago by networking his way to specialists at an out-of-town medical center when highly regarded local hospital gave up on my wife, who was suffering from congestive heart failure – and the day that he sent her to the local hospital was the first time he had ever seen her!!! The world needs more doctors like him!

A wonderful doctor who cares about his patients. He does not rush you out of the office, His knowledge is outstanding as well as his compassion.
