I made an appointment 3 months in advance, took a day off of work and paid a babysitter to be at my appointment. I showed up early to my appointment that was verified via phone, email etc and completed all forms before arriving. I was told me appointment was a different time (20 mins prior than my physical confirmation of time scheduled that I showed to the front desk staff). The employee at the front called the physician and said I arrived “late” for my appointment when he called the physician and said I would have to reschedule when I in fact arrived early and prepared. In explaining everything to the office manager and showing her my physical appointment confirmation from both the day in December the appointment was made and from one week prior to appointment they told me they could not see me. As a health care provider myself I could not be more disgusted with this practice and office. They should be ashamed of the way they treat a patient who has done everything correctly to arrive and prepare for an appointment. I will strongly advise to never use this practice to anyone inquiring and will warn my friends and family who already do. Incredibly Shameful.

Dr. Mendelssohn, is by far the most caring and he ISN'T one of those doctor's who writes a script and sends you on your way! I had gone to the hospital 3 times for severe pain in my head THEY misdiagnosed me it was Doctor Mendelssohn who caught it and he has been my Doctor sense! I'm 45 and was scared to death but now I know I'm in GREAT CARE! THANK YOU!

Staff is extremely rude, to the point where I'm looking for a different doctor.

Dr. Mendelson is a Caribbean trained doctor who comes across as inexperienced. He misdiagnosed my condition over the course of several office visits. My condition was life threatening - it was eventually diagnosed correctly by another physician outside of the practice.

Dr. Mendelson is by leaps and bounds the absolute BEST neurologist around. I started seeing him when I was in high school getting debilitating migraines. Dr. Mendelson was extremely helpful in helping my find what was right for me as far as preventative medications and ones for when they came around. I went from having 17+ migraines a month to two or less! Dr. Mendelson was very adamant about not wanting to just dope me up, he was extremely caring in wanting to find the causes and finding the best solution for me. He's super easy to talk to, and speaks to you in a very laymen's term way to make sure you understand everything before you walk away. He's always willing to answer any questions you have, wether they seem silly or not. He's always available to answer questions on the phone and through email as well. He's a doctor that truly cares about his patients and that's very hard to find now-a-days. Just a super friendly, easygoing guy who's always there to help. The office staff is also always so sweet and helpful with whatever you need. Very bubbly ladies there! After seeing Dr. Mendelson and the practice for about 5 years now, I wouldn't dream of being elsewhere. I would absolutely recommend seeing Dr. Mendelson at his office at The Neurology Specialist of Monmouth County.

I thought the staff was very helpful , not too long of a wait and Dr.Medelson was extremely nice and took lots of time to discuss my daughters headaches and how we should handle her problem. Left there very happy and mind at ease!!!!

Wait time is far too long, staff is extremely unhelpful and rude. Doctor is nice and without experience I'm sure he'll get better.
