Before I even moved to this remote, beautiful area I was visiting and my gall bladder needed to be removed immediately as I was running a fever as well. Dr. DeYoung was on call that night and I felt he did an excellent job considering that he was the "new kid on the block". I felt like we ran into road block after roadblock yet none of it was his fault. They couldn't airlift me out or take me to another hospital because of the severe weather, my insurance at that time was only a Medicare supplement with impossible rules that had to have proof that I needed this procedure, etc. He didn't do the actual surgery, the local surgeon did but Dr. DeYoung eventually became my PCP once I moved here. He works with a group called Winding Waters which has several doctor's. They have a wonderful email set-up so that you can get simple questions answered fast. I am very pleased with him and lucky to have found a doctor who has new knowledge and is learning and getting experience from his co-workers.

Never see for pregnancy!!!! Has no idea what he is doing! I became very ill and lost my pregnancy because he didnt know what he was doing.
