My initial complaint was uti symptoms. The staff didn’t test me for it and the speculum was cold. Kessler totally misdiagnosed me. I’m not in menopause but her diagnosis was for women who have finished menopause! But I went to the follow up after using prescribed drugs and she talked down to me because I used the medicine different than prescribed. (Because I felt better) I was not asked why I used it differently. I clammed up and didn’t explain and then Kessler roughly used a rubber glove without to check inside me. On the 2nd opinion the diagnosis was different and turned out I was doing the meds correctly for my real issue and my hormones were not the issue. I would not recommend her ever.

I was the only person in the waiting room, yet still waited 1.5 hours to be seen (there was no one else in the back I later found out, so I was literally sitting there for no reason). When I finally get to talk to her, she (without so much as a test or a question) announces I have PCOS and she knows just what to do. She then tells me to do a 5 day water-only fast. She also said that me not taking care of the PCOS earlier is why I had "previous miscarriages". I have never had a miscarriage nor did I tell her I had - she assumed I had for whatever reason. She ran blood work on me eventually, but the main things she told me she would check (hormone levels, thyroid, etc.) she didn't do. Definitely do not recommend her - there is a reason her old practice let her go!

Neither of my visits were good. The office was locked and dark past 8:00am when I showed up for a morning appointment. It was the same for a 1:00pm appt, except the nurses were sleeping in the waiting room. The wait was dreadful long even when it appeared I was the only one there. Dr. Kessler rushed through my appointments and mostly passed along messages to her staff to communicate with me. Her phones do not have call waiting and I often call to get a busy signal. She messed up billing my insurance and I called her office nearly 10 times to get it straightened out but her staff kept pushing it aside. I wish I had never gone here.

I am a new patient of Dr. Kessler's. She is friendly and respectful and makes you feel at ease. She is also very intuitive and seemed to understand where I was coming from without a lot of explanation on my end. She spent some time addressing whole body concerns as well and I appreciated this. She was very thorough and explained every aspect of our plan going forward. The office staff has also been very professional and pleasant, both on the phone and in person.

Dr. Kessler is amazing. I can't praise her highly enough. She's my gyn, treating me for PCOS, but she's so much more than that. She looks at you as a whole, not just the body parts she's officially tasked with treating. She's more like my family doctor than my actual family doctor is. She even diagnosed me as having lupus -- my family doctor never even mentioned testing me for it, but Dr. Kessler was able to find it, diagnose it, and recommend a specialist to help me! She told me the day I met her that she wanted to help me, and she has proven that time and time again since. I love going to her office, I always feel good there and like everyone wants to help me. Her entire staff is great -- I'm needle-phobic but not with her staff! I never even feel it when they stick me. They're extremely professional and good at what they do. I can't recommend her highly enough. You will not regret seeing her.
