Dr. Chadd Sukut was my dermatologist for 3 years. My first appointment was in 2021 to check 3 suspect locations I pointed out. One of the scaly areas was found to be a basal cell carcinoma. Dr. Sukut performed a Mohs procedure in a treatment room. The results were successful. A year later in my second appointment there were areas on my head, chest and leg I asked to be checked. Dr. Sukut looked at the small bump on my leg. He performed a needle biopsy and it turned out to be a melanoma. The other areas were not looked at but Dr. Sukut said he would follow up with those. That did not happen. The melanoma was operated on by a surgical oncologist. There were complications with the surgery and healing process that included a MRSA infection, a blood clot and a rejected skin graft. In August of 2023 I went to Dr. Sukut for another annual checkup. Because of my history with skin cancer I asked for a thorough examination. Additionally, I pointed out a scaly spot on my scalp, a discoloration on my chest and a spot on my face. Dr. Sukut looked at those locations, said they were precancerous and froze them. Before leaving the room he said to use sunscreen and make an appointment for next year. He spent no more than 10 minutes in the room and did not perform the full body inspection I requested and expected. I was surprised but thought he must be extremely busy. To my surprise he was standing outside the room sipping coffee and casually chatting with 2-3 women who I assume were nurses. I did not make a follow-up appointment and Dr. Sukut is no longer my dermatologist. I recently had an appointment with a new doctor at a different clinic. This dermatologist was thorough, professional and has already made my next appointment for six months from now. Additionally, she explained treatment options to take care of the scaly skin on my head and face that were still there after being treated by Dr. Sukut.

This was my third annual visit with Dr Sukut. The first year he adequately performed a Mohs procedure at a location I identified. The second year he performed a needle biopsy at a location on my leg they turned out to be a melanoma. A surgical oncologist performed the operation and conducted follow up visits. Sukut did not check my scalp area as requested on that visit and did not schedule an appointment to do so. On the third annual visit I wanted a complete body exam in addition to looking at three locations I showed him. During the 5 minute exam he determined the locations were precancerous, froze them and said to schedule an appointment for the next year. His brief exam was not due to his being busy because as I left the treatment room he was chatting with four nurses and drinking coffee. I will NOT go to Dr Sukut again and suggest that anyone who expects reasonable care and to be heard should find another dermatologist. BTW: one of the locations he froze has still not healed over a month later so I have an appointment with a dermatologist I thoroughly vetted.

Dr. Chadd Sukut is amazing. He's the best dermatologic surgeon out of any others I've seen. I tend to have a lot of skin cancer and he always does an incredible job with MOHS surgery. He has a great personality and truly cares about his patients!

The staff at advance dermatology could not be better. From my first contact with them through the entire process was excellent. The forms that are required to be filled out were e mailed to me,so i could do them at home rather then in the waiting room on a clip board. ( good idea) The professionalism of the entire staff is great & i would entrust them with all of my skin care needs. In addition, how many doctors call you the very same evening on the day you had the surgery to make sure you are doing ok? NONE,but the doctors at advanced Dermatology do call you. That says a lot about them to me.

Follow-up visit. Looked over previous areas of concern. Asked about any new areas in question. Looked them over and commented on them alleviating any concerns. Advised on the use of sun block (Neutrogena spray for example).

Dr. Chadd Sukut and his team are amazing! I needed to have a Mohs procure on a basil cell that was very close to my eye. Because of the close proximity to my eye, I was extremely nervous about the surgery. I requested a meeting before the surgery date to talk to the doctor who would be performing the surgery. Dr. Sukut met with me and allowed me to ask questions and to voice my concerns. He answered all with patience and professionalism. His easy manner and obvious caring put me at ease. The day of the surgery, Dr. Sukut and his team of nurses took great care to make me feel comfortable about each part of the procedure. The office is relaxing, and the waiting room was well stocked with items that made the waiting process a pleasant one. As an additional and unexpected gesture, at the end of the surgery, Dr. Sukut gave me a note with his personal cell phone number, just in case I had any worries about the post operation healing process. From the moment I walked into the offices at Advanced Dermatology, I was met with a friendly and helpful staff. From the front desk folks to the nursing staff and the doctors, everyone was welcoming, pleasant, caring and supportive. Three days after my surgery, Dr. Sukut himself called me just to make sure that I was healing well, was doing well, and to answer and additional questions and concerns. In this day when I find that most doctors treat me as a number, it was refreshing and noteworthy that Dr. Sukut considered me as a not only a patient, but as a person. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology to anyone who needs skin care. And I will most definitely use their services again and again.

I went to see Chad Sukut for a follow up on the mos surgery and to show him new spots. He froze off a new spot that was precancerous. I am always so happy to see him, he has such a warm greeting and is so gentle and respectful. I wish all doctors could be just like him!
