One of the best individuals I have ever met. Very informative, explains everything he is doing, makes sure you are comfortable. Staff is amazing as well, so kind and always smiling! 5++ stars from me and my family!!

My daughter went to Suncoast Braces for six years. She needed to have oral surgery twice, for the same procedure, because Suncoast left it up to me; a layman, to relay technical medical terminology, regarding exactly what surgical procedures were needed to be done. There was a serious lack of professional communication, and their lack of, caused an improperly performed procedure on my daughter's mouth.
My daughter, Kris, saw doctor Sheridan, for the first three years, until his assistant, Luisana, joined his staff. I began to express my concerns about not being pleased with the outcome of my child's progress thus far. Doctor Sheridan assured me, the various techniques he was utilizing would resolve my concerns, and that her teeth would be straightened to my satisfaction in the end result. This was not the case. She had her braces taken off, and just as I suspected all along, her teeth weren't straight; and in fact, her smile was not indicative to someone who had worn braces for several years. Her upper front teeth developed in a very pronounced, and protruding slant position. Her teeth were substantially missed aligned. The physical appearance of the end product was a major disappointment.
The very day her braces came off, my daughter had complaints of discomfort in her mouth. I took her to the dentist for a cleaning, and complaining of teeth sensitivity, within that same month. Her dentist advised me to take her back to the orthodontist because she will need braces again in order to get the issue corrected, and in the meantime her condition will only progressively decline overtime.
I am now having to start the whole braces process again. I feel like I have wasted six years, as well as wasted funds that I've invested in the health of her teeth. In all fairness, I cannot be certain of which healthcare professional to lay blame to, at Suncoast, but I can attest to doctor Sheridan having a remarkable bedside manner.
