I saw Dr. Shimizu over a two decade period of time when I was living in southern California. I knew he was the best at the time but believe me just move out of the LA area and your appreciation of him and the way he "doctors" will grow 100 times stronger. One could try forever and never find a doctor with Dr. Shimizu's unique collection of all the best things one wants in their doctor: a high level of with intelligence (rounded out nicely with humility and his quirky sense of humor) and energy; high standards and a can-do attitude and blessed with an inherent positive attitude that simply shines through all of the usual "stuff" that can happen in a medical suite.
