De Bedell did a surgery for me a couple of years ago and I liked him so much that I chose him for my prenatal care physician. He has a wonderful sense of humor and I loved that he constantly made me laugh when I was worrying. I had a generally smooth pregnancy until week 32 where UTIs and kidney stones consumed me! Dr Bedell did everything in his power to make sure I stayed as comfortable as possible during this hellish time. I went to the hospital during a weekend where he was signed out and had to deal with the on call doctor, Dr. Amsbury, who refused to even speak to me. I was sent home without even a urinalysis. Within hours I was back in crippling pain from the kidney stones and contractions three minutes apart. When Dr. Bedell came in to see me early that morning he was appalled that I was sent home the day before without being seen at all by a doctor or having any tests performed. I think Trinity is very lucky to have a doctor like him on their staff, because from my experiences, I think majority of their staff all have an atrocious bedside manner! I also must say that it would benefit his office greatly if they got rid of one of the front desk women they have. (Short bob with long roots) she is the rudest clerical person I have ever met and talks bad about patients while she's at front desk! Talk about rude!!! Anyway, Dr, Bedell delivered my baby and stitched me up real good and I definitely plan on sticking with him in the future!

Dr. Bedell was awesome. I would definatly recommend him to anyone! He took time to listen and answered all my questions!I had to have an emergancy c-section and he talked me through it as it was unexpected. I healed very well from it and the nurses even said he did a great job stitching me back up!

I have a close relative who saw him for three years and he delivered her two babies. He was ok during this time. One week after her second delivery she had pain in her breast and was diagnosed with Mastitis. He gave her very little infor on options for nursing and she was lead to believe that she would need to stop nursing in order to get better. So she stopped nursing. She wasn't getting better after about a week so called on call dr. who placed her on an antibiotic. She started getting aches all over espec joints and a fever and a rash so went to ER. They treated her for allergic reaction to antibiotic and for the fever. Told her to follow up with Bedell for the mastitis. She called him and he stated that it sounded like a family practice issue and didn't want to see her. After 3 ER visits &admitted she was told she had a breast abscess and Staph. He hadn't thought she was bad enough for him to see her in his office. She had a serious infection and he didn't listen to her.

This is one of the best doctors in Minot. I would recommend Dr. Bedell to all of my friends. He always takes a lot of time to answer any questions you may have. I have felt completely confident with him as my doctor. This is my second pregnancy with Dr. Bedell.

I had infertility problems and he helped me with that explained everything that he was giving me and what it would do and took the time to explain. I also had a bad experience my first pregnancy and he's keeping a close eye on me this time doing the extra lab work I need every appointment. Letting me know I can call any time of I feel as tho I'm having symptoms and need to go in for lab work. His nurse is amazing and very helpful making sure everything is going alright and asking about symptoms every appointment. I would def. recommend him.

The inner office lack of professionalism is a danger to your healthcare as messages are not passed along to the doctor or the nurse. The staff talks openly and negatively about patients in front of other patients. The doctor also mistakes sarcasm as humor. When the time came to go to the hospital the doctor never stopped in to see how things were progressing. I had a definite impression that the doctor cared less about the patient and more about making money. He is arrogant at best. I also found out from a third party that they talked to an office member about the appointments without written permission.
