Wow! This dentist is the best I've ever had. My front tooth had broken off at the gum line. It had a root canal done many years back, but it was bad and needed to be redone. 2nd opinions from other dentists were telling me they wanted to pull the old tooth and put in either a bridge or an implant. Dr McNamara proposed to redo the root canal and restore the tooth with a post and crown. The cost was way less than the other proposals. Dr M said there was a risk that the post and crown could break in the future if I am not careful with it, but if it does break, I could fall back on these other proposed alternatives. Wow! It turned out really nice and has been holding up well going on 5 years now. He is really gentle and thoroughly explains all what he is doing as he works. Another plus (in my mind) - he does the cleanings too.
