I fell and shattered my ulna while vacationing in Hawaii. My surgery was set and ready to go when I returned. The entire process from exams through the surgery and 3 months of therapy went like clockwork. Completely professional, top notch care. My arm is as good as new!

Dr. Marlo did a carpal tunnel release on me at the end of Dec. 2011. She seemed very knowledgeable, listened closely to every concern I had, & allowed me to feel in control. It was quick, virtually painless, and I was able to start using it within a few days. I am 12 days post surgery & am amazed how well I am doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Van Steyn & if I ever need my left hand done, she will be my surgeon!

I was especially pleased that she was able to treat the dupuytren's contracture in my hand in such an unintrusive way. She used very fine needles to cut the bands (local anesthesia)instead of cutting them out under general anesthesia. I have no scars, and was able to use my hand fully immediately after the procedure and wore a splint on my hand for only 2 weeks at night. I believe she is one of the few (if not the only)doctors around here who do this procedure. She is also very personable and knowledgeable as is her staff. I highly recommend her.

I was very pleased with Dr. Marlo Van Steyn's professionalism. Physical therapists were pleased Dr. Van Steyn released the patient for weight-bearing physical therapy as quickly as she did. The physical therapists described that as "life-saving."
