45 minutes in waiting room for a 4 pm appt. Was told she takes her time with every patient. Then make the appt for 5 pm and don’t make me wait. It’s rude and discourteous. Took my papers and left. Will now book the Endocrinologists in Englewood.should have taken my Primary’s recommendation for them.

I will start by saying that I really like Dr. Anchipolovsky and it took me years to trust an endocrinologist after a bad experience but the office experience is going to drive me away. It's too difficult to get an appointment without having to wait two months so don't even think about reschedule. It's nearly impossible to park in the garage under the building and there's nowhere nearby to park. The receptionist is rude and difficult to deal with. Finally, if you're busy and need to get in and out of a doctor's office in less than 2 1/2 hours, don't even bother making an appointment. It seems like many patients are scheduled for the same time and if there's a new patient, no allowances are made for the amount of time the doctor will need to spend with that person. A very frustrating experience to get to a good doctor.

Hate to say anything negative because she's seems very nice, but first of all the office itself is ridiculous...it's in a residential apartment building where you are allowed to park in one of several numbered parking spaces scattered among the tenant's spots. If you need any advice be sure to ask because she doesn't talk a whole lot. Biggest complaint is the waiting time; expect to sit in her over-crowded tiny waiting room for a minimum of 1 1/2 hours every time. That's just rude--but at least there's entertainment as you wait: you can hear loud and clear the personal conversations between her and every patient before you due to total lack sound-proofing in her apparently hollow office door.

The Dr did take the time to listen to my concerns and ran many, many tests. In the end she was not successful in diagnosing me. For someone who claims to specialize in Metabolism and Diabetes, she gave HORRIFIC advice. "You just need to go into starvation mode." Was her response to my complaint of being unable to lose weight. The wait times for her were unreal, including the first appointment of the day. I also wasn't thrilled that during every appointment with her she took at least one phone call while I was in the middle of speaking with her. Patient privacy is non-existent. The tiny exam room butts up against the waiting area, every word can be heard. I also had problems filling the prescriptions she gave me. She would give quantities that my insurance would reject, causing delays. All in all, not impressed.

I went to see this Dr. due to my having high blood sugar. She was very detailed in her explanations to me and the necessary steps I need to take in order to help myself. Did not push drugs, instead took me off a few. I work for a Physician myself and she comes highly recommended. Did not rush the visit and spent quality time discussing my health and well being. Love her.
