Dr. Alvarez treated me for Type 2 Diabetes despite blatantly present antibodies for Type 1 Diabetes on bloodwork. Unfortunately, I was ignorant and unknowledgeable of T1D and trusted his judgement. I was continuously being treated with pills despite the fact that I lost 30+ pounds and was constantly throwing up with diabetic ketoacidosis. He nearly cost me my life.

I find his office to be well staffed. He also has a diabetic educator and a clinical dietitian in house. Also portal access for the patients. Thyroid ultra sounds and metabolic testing. Appointment times in one to two weeks.

He resigned from endoconsultants. don't know where he now is. Tood dad, his patients miss him.
