Dr. Forlano has been treating my family and I for almost 20 years. I would never even consider changing dentists for myriad reasons. He meets the highest standard of care each and every visit and I have found his ethical standards to be beyond reproach. As a health care provider myself I am never disappointed in his approach to my care. He is professional yet personal simultaneously while maintaining an appropriate balance. He once met he at his office late at night after going home due to the fact I misplaced my temporary implant and was reluctant to go to work the next day as a result. Who else does that? In my experience none. My family has had the same experiences each and every visit. Dr. Forlano tells it like it is and offers a viable ntreatment plan and financial resolution for each and every situation. His staff Is amazing and consistently flexible as well as genuinely polite. There are other attributes I respect about Dr. forlano's practice but in the interest of time I can only highly recommend his entire practice for patients of any age.

Dr. Forlano just attached the crowns onto the implants that he placed a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier! My smile is amazing, and he and his staff made going to the dentist a pleasure!

I went to Dr. Forlano after my dentist referred me to an oral surgeon for an implant, and I was so impressed with his thorough exam and knowledge that I decided to switch dentists! The number of things that my previous dentist overlooked was unbelievable! So grateful that my friend recommended Dr. Forlano!

I'm fairly certain that Dr. Forlano and his team are the most knowledgeable dental providers on Long Island, if not in all of New York! His office is incredibly well equipped, and the doctor behind the equipment is a fountain of knowledge! His comprehensive exam blew me away, and I have and will remain loyal to him because I'm confident that he is one of the top dentists!

PROFESSIONALISM AT ITS BEST! Dr. Forlano is by far the most professional dentist that I've ever encountered. After traveling throughout NYC and Long Island to find someone who could treat both my mouth and myself as a patient in the most well mannered way, I finally arrived at his office and ended my search! His comprehensiveness astounded me! I have never received an evaluation of my oral health that was so thorough! As he explained my prospective treatment plan to me, he made sure that I was aware of its implications, costs, and benefits. In addition, I was impressed with his level of education and many recognitions that he's earned for his experience and knowledge. After searching for a knowledgeable dentist for several years, I sincerely would not recommend anyone else!

My friend recommended Dr. Forlano to me so I went to see him. He insisted at our first meeting that I have thorough dental exam even though I just had one and he would not accept the file from my other dentist. My insurance would not pay for another one so I had to pay out of pocket approx. $200. After that, he sat me down and told me I had so many things wrong with my mouth, smile, looks. Yes, my looks! Then he said he wanted to do yet another "exam" that was not covered by my insurance. I told him I can't afford another exam that is not covered by my insurance. At that point he became very agitated with me and told me he could go no further with me if I didn't agree to his recommendations which went into the several thousand dollar range. None of which is covered by insurance. He then walked out of the office! When I told my friend about this she said "Oh yes, that's the way he is". What??? I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. I think he know his stuff but if you question anything he says he basically tells you that he is the dentist, not you. Not my type of dentist. Office is clean and brand new, staff is nice but they seem like they're afraid of him.

The dentist was late made me sit in the chair for way too long and then was talking about personal things about my life to other people I know. I thought that there was supposed to be such thing as patient confidentiality, but I guess not in his world. He charges way too much money for a mediocre job. Most of his other staff are very nice people but unfortunately they don't make up for the horrible dentist he is. He always wants to do more work than is necessary and tells you things to make you feel insecure about what he wants you to get done. He "specializes in everything" just so you don't have to go anywhere else for your business and he can charge you ridiculous amounts of money. I recommend someone else!
