Rude, always late, unprofessional and overcharges. He should lose his license as he just tries to pad the amount of things that can be charged back to insurance company even though you tell him that is not what you want.

(If you want the short version of this Peter Pomazon was unprofessional and demonstrated no empathy to the CONSISTENT pain, I told him I was in FOR TWO WEEKS after HE operated on my mouth TWO separate times! In The 10 plus years that I've went to Dent 1st at several different locations I have never received such awful treatment
I had an infection and I was crying to Pomazon the dentist), Fran (dental hygienist) and Tanya or Tana (Front desk receptionist) and nobody offered to prescribe antibiotics nor pain medication until TWO weeks and TWO separate dental surgeries later.) I will never go to the Kennesaw location again!

Initially when I found Peter Pomazon I thought he was great despite a few warning signs:

1) During my first visit a month ago the receptionist Dana was coughing continuously while checking me in (during a COOVID-19 scare nonetheless) and nobody at the front desk nor in the back batted an eye. However initially she was lovely and so was everyone else, so I brushed it off.

2) During my appointments Pomazon and the Fran would confide to me about "how much whining and complaining their other clients did" Pomazon and Fran also complained about their co-workers while they were operating on me as well.

3) My tooth was rotten to the core and had to be removed however, it had a huge abscess attached to my roots and the abscess was growing in my gums. Instead of Pomazon prescribing me antibiotics and waiting for the inflammation to go down he just yanks it out (meanwhile I’m detesting in excruciating pain) and sends me home.

Pomazon DID NOT PRESCRIBE ANTIBIOTICS for my infection ( Pomazon DID NOT PRESCRIBE pain medication after he yanked out a tooth (which according to Pomazon and Fran and I repeat verbatim) HAD A HUGEEEE ABSCESS.

Fast forward it was two weeks after I got my tooth removed and three days after I got my fillings in. It was my 3rd time alerting multiple people at Dent 1st in Kennesaw that I was in pain without anything getting done. No antibiotics for the tooth that had an Abscess. No antibiotics the second time I went in and I told him I was still in pain. No compassion. No anything.

At that point embarrassingly I had to call my mom because she processes claims for dental offices, and she knows the proper protocols. My mom got Tanya to call me the next day and got me an appointment within 30 minutes. This 3rd and final appointment was when I knew I could NO LONGER continue to receive service from Dent 1st event though I had been coming her for 10 plus years as a child.

THIS MAKES IT THE FOURTH TIME I ALERTED MULTIPLE PEOPLE OF MY PAIN AT DENT FIRST KENNESAW! Once again I told Pomazon I was in pain and once again he told me to essentially “suck it up” until all the three of my rotten teeth were removed. IF I’M IN MIND NUMBING PAIN WITH ONLY ONE TOOTH GETTING REMOVED AND 2 FILLINGS WHY ON EARTH WOULD I GO BACK TO GET THREE EXTRA TEETH REMOVED WHEN YOU CLEARLY DON’T CARE ABOUT MY COMFORT!!!

At one point during the continuous back and forth with Pomazon about how much pain I was in, it spontaneously occurred too Pomazon to ask me about antibiotics. Which I then had to alert him that he never prescribed me any antibiotics. (By the way even he was completely shocked by his own malpractice). Then when I questioned him as to why I was never prescribed the antibiotics he made up some baloney excuse about how I never told him I was in pain therefore he never prescribed antibiotics to me.

So basically, I had to record the entire conversation with Pomazon because of how awful he had been speaking to me previously and on the day of the recording. I have to let corporate listen to this recording because nobody should have to go through something as traumatizing as this.

I highly recommend Dr. Pomazon and staff at this office. I had a cleaning at this location and am thoroughly satisfied with the treatment I received from them. They were all detail oriented, friendly and knowledgable. I rated them the way I did because I am completely satisfied with the service I received and I recommend them any chance I get!!!

I had a terrible experience with this dentist today. I had went in for a checkup after having wisdom teeth pulled two days before. There was a bone protruding from my gum after the surgery, and at the time I thought it was a piece of my tooth that was still there. So I asked him about it and he proceeds to lecture me on how I shouldn't probe around back there with my tongue because it will displace the coagulation back there (really not even addressing the concern I had).. He proceeded to tell me that this stuff happens and patients like me come in thinking something is there when there's really nothing there. I told him that it's at the very back of my mouth and that my tongue couldn't reach that far back. He arrogantly told me "yes it does reach back there". His tone was very condescending with me, oblivious to the fact that he was talking to a medical school student who knew, as much, if not more, about coagulation than he does. He pretty much had no respect for me as a patient.
