Dr Priolo was called in the hospital of a mistake my previous surgeon made. He never did a procedure but he spent so so much time with me in the hospital and at his follow up appointment explained everything. Listened to my questions. Did not rush mr. Answers everything Can’t speak to a procedure but the way he treated me speaks volumes. If all Drs were like Dr P, our healthcare system would be in a much better place and our confidence in Drs would be extremely high. I recommend him to anyone.

I would Not recommend this Doctor, Dr. Steven Priolo MD, Surgeon Brick, N.J, To ANYONE!!! This Doctor did a Procedure on me, Judith Wesley (Patient) two weeks ago at Brick hospital (Surgery) and left the hospital before I even came out of recovery. Or even spoke to my family member who was waiting outside in the waiting room. The very next day I ran a fever and reported it to him Immediately. He did Not put me on an Antibotic but sent me for lab work at Community Hospital. Still running a fever three days later I called for the reports and to tell him about my condition and was told he was not in his office for another week to go thru my Primary Doctor, (Dr. Steven Ingato) for results and medicine. My doctor did so for me and by the the time I went back for Dialysis my bandage from the PD Cath was bloody and was oozing out puss. The Nurse there cleaned the bandage and by the time I had my second treatment I was in so much PAIN and discomfort, ( still running a fever) My Kidney doctor on Mule road, Dr. A. told me to sign my self out and go straight to the Emergency room! They also took a culture to see for an infection. I was Admitted into Jersey Shore Hospital that night, Thursday. The report cam back a few days later that it was confirmed the PD Cath was infected. The very same night after that at 9:45 PM while laying in bed Dr. Priolo's Associate , Dr. Anil Pahuja MD came in with scrubs on from the Operating room at Community Hospital late that night and said he was there to take my infected PD Cath out. He did not Sterilize anything in my room. He used my table with all my belongings, Water , Etc.. on it to place his Surgery equipment down on it with that another Patient was in my room with just a curtain between us that also had some kind of an infection that was oozing out of most of her body. He then removed the cath using a local, (Very Painful) Throw the infected cath in my garbage right next to me and his gloves with blood on them on the floor. I Never experience anything like this in my life. The hospital or Nurse didnt even send someone to clean this up. I had to ask the Nurse to take my garbage out and my floor was not moped. I am home now today, First day trying to recover from this terrible ordeal that I could of died from ans I am still in A lot of PAIN! No, I hope there was a way to take his License away from being a Doctor, (Surgeon) So that this does Not happen to another one of his or his Patients! Sincerely! I promise All these words are true and Honest.

Worst doctor i evern had. I had hernia surgery by him 3 years ago and it went well. I went back to him because I felt like I had more hernias. He said that surgery was mandatory and I had hernias. After the surgery turned out I had no hernias. I have a history of deadly infections, he refused me pain medication and anti biotics. I called his office 4 times over the course of a week to ask for antibiotics becasue my sister who is a nurse told me it was infected and they refused. they also refused to give me an appointment. I now have a major infection and they still refused to see me. I was just rushed to the ER with an infecntion. Turns out I never had hernias either. it was just some scra tissue from my last surgery with him. he has no bedside manners, didnt even give me discharge papers. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Nice guy, but...despite holding dual insurance I was left with over $10,000 in uncovered expenses from gall bladder surgery. Began paying $250/mo and after several months was threatened with collection, so I agreed to terms to pay it off in 1 yr. I challenged a charge of approx $3500 for an umbilical hernia repair. I did not consent to the hernia repair and that he told me a year earlier was not necessary. It was incidental to the gall bladder surgery because one of the incisions was made thru the hernia in the navel. That charge was removed from my bill. By the way, my abdominal pain persisted for 4 more months until I had a doctor at Johns Hopkins find and treat the cause.

I was on charity care and this doctor agreed to work at a clinic. I was not supposed to be charged. He now is trying to charge me $450 for one visit at a clinic!!!!! Furthermore, when he told me to make an appt with his office for a biopsy, his staff gave me the run around and would tell me they would call me back and never did. I kept calling and they kept NOT calling back. Now, 2 years later he is trying to charge me an outrageous fee of $450 for one visit in a clinic where I was approved for 100% charity care. He should definately be disbarred, has no ethics, and luckily the clinic set me up with another doc who did the biopsy and charged me nothing, the way it was supposed to be. Also, luckily it turned out not to be breast cancer but if it had been, this Priolo jerk would have given my cancer plenty of time to grow with having his staff not acknowledge my calls to make an appt. He did nothing and is a totally incapable and dishonest doctor!!!!
