Lacks professionalism in every aspect. He is a PODIATRIST, NOT an orthopedic surgeon.

We had to make an in person appointment in order for Dr Budney to read us a report from a test that my husband had. It could have been read to us over the phone as Dr Budney was referring my husband to another doctor as he couldn’t help him. It took 10 days before we got the report and now we have to wait longer before we see another doctor. Such a waste of time and money.

went to this doctor for an ingrown toenail. pressured me into a surgery. Ended up getting a post op because when i saw him on my follow up, he said "that looks angry" and then did nothing for it. ended up having to be admitted for a post op infection and get the picc line anyways. STAY FAR AWAY.

Saw Dr Budny at Blair Orthopedics on two separate occasions. Poor bedside manner each time, he clearly just wanted to punch the clock and pushed for diagnostics (for issues not the presenting complaint). He pressured me to have surgery for something else entirely. Second time, he barely examined me, failed to address one of my two fractures, and then charged me $660 for 'treatment'. He administered no treatment and 'fracture treatment' would only cover follow up office visits (not X-rays, not a cast etc).

I saw Dr. Budny at a local wound center that he participates at – it was my first and only visit. I was told that if I don’t allow him to do surgery, he won’t treat me. Pretty obvious what his goals are. He was so worried about “standard of care” but that same standard of care states a wound should be debrided weekly and he did not do that. Apparently, billing rates influence what standard of care is important to follow. Prior to Dr. Budny coming into the room, the nurse was extremely rude. I have autonomic neuropathy, which causes both high and low blood pressure. A nurse that took one BP reading kept insisting that I needed to be on BP medicine even though I told her that I spend half of my day with BP of about 80 over 50. Yes, taking high blood pressure meds will certainly help with that – help with a trip to the ER. She had also started on me about surgery and when I stated I had a discussion with my PCP about it, she told me that I was “misinformed.”
