My impression is that Dr Groves doesn't like talking to patients! Even when I've scheduled an office visit in advance. At the end of a visit he always tells me to schedule a follow up with the PA, like my questions and health condition are not important enough for him to address. There's certainly no small talk or even medical talk. Recently he advised getting an MRI. It showed increased CSF fluid around the brain. I had the results in my patient portal and I wanted to ask questions but never heard anything from him or anyone else in the office. After a few days I called in to the office to try to see him to discuss the results. The answer I got back was that he wanted me to get a lumbar puncture to check CSF pressure. No opportunity to talk to him and ask questions. After that procedure it was the same thing - I didn't get any call from his office but I had the results in my patient portal which I really wanted to understand. Within a couple of days I had an incredibly painful headache and ended up going to ER where they said CSF was leaking and performed a patch. The next day I tried to call and talk to Dr Groves, the PA, or a nurse but no one was available. I still have tons of questions. I was told to make an appointment and then told the earliest I could get one was in 2 1/2 months! Also he prescribed a medication that was on my list of allergies. I asked if I could have a televisit or even just a phone call. It ended up being faster to get simple answers by contacting his office through the patient portal. I marked him okay on knowledge but really I don't know because I still haven't been able to ask my questions. He makes me feel like I'm an annoyance rather than a patient that needs more information. I'm looking for a new Neurologist .

Unable to reach the Physician even though he prescribed drugs, brain study, brain MRI , and has not been willing to meet, discuss, talk, and is totally incommunicado. Faster and easier would be to look elsewhere for a professional. When your wife is terminally Ill the last thing you need is this kind of treatment

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Groves, he was very thorough, easy to talk too, answered all of my questions. He was great!

Geez I don't even know where to begin this had to be the worse "doctor" I've ever been to in my life. Please don't waste your time this guy is a complete joke I wouldn't be surprised to hear on the news years from now he's not even a real doctor and doesn't have a degree.. First I arrive and his staff asked me where I had my MRI they couldn't find it and didn't know where I had it done.. I thought to my self why would you ask my this the day I arrive!!!! Really? Luckily I had brought copies with me of my ct scan and MRI. Once getting into the appointment "doctor" groves nada HORRIFIC bedside manner and was just very astranged and proceeded to ask me "why are you here" so I told him he asked to see my MRI and left. He came back and he asked "well what do you know what did the other doctors tell you" so my mother proceeded to tell him and his response was " yup that's probably it yes I agree " this guy didn't know what was going on and didn not have ONE original thought at all. It's sad ! I left the appointment and called my insurance to go make an appointment with a 5 star neurologists ! "Doctor Jeffery groves is a joke and it's no wonder he has such horrible reviews all over . Trust those reviews I promise you the wait for a better doctor is worth it !

Doctor did not understand the medical need and literally gave sample medicines as a way of dealing with the medical problem. No instructions were given with the samples--"Just take these and see which ones work." When other symptoms appeared, the doctor was unavailable for a conference. His staff were edgy and covered for him and would not let the patient talk to the doctor. The patient sought help from another doctor who had a plan for the problem. Dr. Groves finally sent a letter stating he would not talk further or work with the patient. All in all, this doctor did not seem qualified to deal with the medical need and did not have a good "bedside manner" to reassure the patient.

I was referred from my family doctor and took 2 weeks to get in. Office staff and nurses were friendly. Waited 5-10 minutes to be see at the appointment. Dr groves answered all of my questions and was very responsive to a phone call I had later. I recommend him as a neurologist.

The staff is great and very friendly. On the other hand, after over a month of calling and disputing my suspicious doctor's bill from him... I found out that Dr. Groves typed in my medical file all these detailed, specific evaluations that he actually never did. Because it was just me and my daughter in the patient room, it's basically my word against his. He didn't even find a solution for my symptoms in the end of it all, and all our visits were about 5 minutes or less, where I felt more confused and frustrated after the appointment was over. Over $200 for the first visit, $80 something for the next visit, and $123 for the next. I will never go to his office again at Central Utah Clinic. Not like he cares, he will just suck money from the rest of his unknowing patients for false reasons. What a waste of time and money.
