I came away from adjustment with more pain. What is annoying is that I spoke with him before appointment to see if he had experience with my particular issue. He assured me he did. After the adjustment I told him I was still in pain and I felt like my neck was out of place. He told me that he did not have much interest in getting things back in the right place but just to make the patient feel better. He tried to sell me acupuncture, massage, heat therapy, other treatments and said it was going to take a long time. I guess it would if he never adjusts my spine correctly!!! On the way home my pain kept increasing until I couldn't stand it. I had to go to my old chiropractor, over an hour drive, who assessed which vertebrae was out and adjusted it in 5 minutes. No more pain. I feel Ettlinger does bait and switch and is either unwilling or unable to do a correct adjustment but keeps pressuring you to come back for "pain management". He charged twice as much as old chiro as well.
