The worst doctor visit I ever had in my life. Bad customer service, full of attitude, overcharging. Fraud and fraud

This week is my one year anniversary of being under the AMAZING CARE of Dr. Berk. One year ago, my future looked bleak having been diagnosed with two chronic skin issues. Dr. Berk helped me so much. I felt ensured I was receiving the best care and support possible and the whole office team has been getting me to the best place I can be. Due to his incredible knowledge and care, I am finally comfortable in my own skin again! Thank you Dr. Berk!!!

Dr. Berk, was prompt and seemed very personable and knowledgable. I will return for another appointment in a few months time to take care of an skin problem. He answered all my questions and was helpful. The staff was excellent.

i go to dr. berk for his knowledge, not his personality. yes, he appears to be shy and yes, he does look at the floor when spoken to, but the quality of treatment i have received is excellent. i have been to him for both routine and emergency issues and each time he has taken the necessary time to diagnose and explain both my condition and the treatment he is prescribing.

I had the same experience with Berk. The office staff screwed up and did not list what I wanted done when I made the appt. And I was VERY specific and accurate. When I got into the room with Berk, and showed him what I needed done, he said he could only do "x", and did that and left because he said he had another appt waiting. He's also kind of old and crusty. I'm sure he's experienced, but he did not do a very careful exam, and I had already had a patch of skin removed for skin cancer two years before, so it was definitely necessary to be careful and thorough.

I saw Dr. Berk several years ago. I had a problem with blackheads on my nose. He was very polite to me. He asked me several questions as he looked at my skin. When he was done examining my blackheads, we discussed some treatment options. While we talked, he never once made eye contact with me; he stared at the floor the ENTIRE TIME he was talking to me. I found this odd & disconcerting; he seemed painfully shy & lacking in confidence. He recommended & prescribed Retin-A for my blackheads. It didn't work for me; it caused the pores on my nose to close tightly, & the pus inside the blackheads festered & turned green. I didn't go back to Dr. Berk only because of his uncertain manner. Instead, I went to my GP (who had recommended Dr. Berk). He told me to forget the Retin-A & to use Lancome exfoliant instead. (As it turned out, that product works well for my problem.) I felt sorry for Dr. Berk. I hope that he has developed a more confident manner for dealing with patients.

Dr. Berk maintains early appts (7:00 AM). He is fairly prompt. His knowledge is broad based.

After 5 minutes of discussing our problems doctor stopped me in the beginning of my sentences and said: " excuse me next patient is waiting for me" and left.
