My experience with Dr. Cheung has been nothing less than excellent. He's a well-qualified and gracious practitioner that seems to truly care for his patient's wellness. Very professional and thorough.

We first met Dr. Cheung over 15 years ago when he first arrived in Kitsap County. Our infant granddaughter's eye doctor recommended using Dr. Cheung to surgically correct her eye problems. She is now 17 and her vision is good thanks his surgical skills. This year my cataracts needed attention and I turned to Dr. Cheung and his staff for the surgery and I couldn't be more satisfied with the process. Both Dr. Cheung and the Surgery Center called me the next day to see how I was doing, a rare thing.

Dr. Cheung is just great! He takes time to fully explain problems. I've had many tests for glaucoma and optic nerve wear. His staff administering these tests are all a pleasure to be with. Dr. Cheung is the ONLY doctor who has called me to talk about test results, and I really appreciate his web site. I'd recommend him to anyone - and he speaks French so we had a mini-conversation. Fantastique!

Starting in 2005, I started developing Strabismus, due to late onset health issues by 2013 the condition advanced to the point that corrective lenses could not be reasonably used. Dr. Betsy L. Kott-Flodstrom, my Ophthalmologist, referred me to Dr. Jason Cheung, an eye surgeon. Eye surgery was a success! I am 63 and I was skeptical about eye surgery. Dr. Cheung is an outstanding surgeon who truly worked with me throughout the entire process. During the first the appointment, we discussed surgery in detail. Dr. Cheung told me during the appointment that he did not want me to feel pressured into the surgery and to take the time I needed to determine if I wanted to undergo the surgery. Every aspect of the surgery was impressive from the surgical support personnel to the facilities to personal follow-up home call I received from Dr. Cheung. Without hesitation, I can recommend Dr. Cheung to anyone needing or contemplating eye surgery.

I am 66 and my ability to focus both eyes in the same place had deteriorated to the point where, even with maximum strength corrective lenses, I was unable to do so. Dr. Cheung diagnosed the condition as strabismus (essentially my eyes were crossed) and successfully operated on both eyes to restore binocular vision. The improvement was astonishing! I can now drive without seeing multiple images of traffic approaching, watching TV is no longer a strain, and my golf game is showing significant improvement. A truly life changing result.

Dr. Cheung and his staff are outstanding. I was able to get a next-day appointment for sudden vision changes and found Dr. Cheung to be thorough and skilled. Moreover, he spent time explaining my diagnosis, which was tremendously reassuring. It's increasingly rare for physicians to offer such thorough explanations. In the end, I had a benign condition (PVD) that improved on its own, but the initial visual symptoms were very frightening. I would highly recommend Dr. Cheung's office.

Dr Cheung and his staff have been a pleasure to deal with over the past couple of years as my son was being treated for strabismus. The team is friendly, professional and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for an appointment. Dr Cheung was gentle with my young son and put us all at ease. After correcting my son's vision with patching on a regular basis, Dr Cheung performed surgery which fixed the drifting of one eye. Looking at my son and seeing the huge difference Dr Cheung made in his life is such a gift and I will be forever grateful.

Dr. Cheung is wonderful! We have been coming to his office since my daughter was a few weeks old. He is very kind and caring. And the staff is great too! Always very friendly and helpful!
