I was referred to Dr. Zorn for a breast reduction at age 14, although at first, she was slightly concerned that I would not be content with the procedure results down the road. However, after I explained my reasons she immediately started planning the surgery. It's been 2 years since my surgery and I have to say it was the best decision I have made, and by far the best surgery experience I have had. Although Dr. Zorn was always running slightly behind schedule, she always had the answers to my questions and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. I also must say she did a beautiful job on the surgery and I love the top half of my body now. She was extremely precise in her incisions and gave me great instructions for scar care (they have now completely disappeared). Also, I must mention that (I don't know if this was because of my age) on the day of my surgery, I noticed that none of the staff taking care of me were male. I don't me to sound sexist, but as a young teen, being exposed in an operating room is uncomfortable and I appreciated that all the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and the surgeon were women. Overall, as a young girl who was completely ashamed of her body, I would not have picked any other surgeon to do my procedure. And even now I am considering going back to her and potentially having some other procedures done. She may come off as aloof and standoffish, but she is a very caring and competent physician. And to those that complain about her age, I must say, yes she was old enough to be my grandmother, but with age comes expertise and I admire and appreciate her age. In all honesty, I trusted her more because of it.

I got ftm top surgery with Dr. Zorn end of 2019 and got periareolar with her. My results are fantastic and I'm super happy with them. Her staff is very nice, she takes OHIP, and it was 5 months from consult to surgery. She's quirky and very too the point. She will be late but she takes time with patients and she's high up in the hospital and gets called places so she's busy. So be prepared to wait when you go for appointments. She's not the most up to date on trans topics but she's not rude just a little outdated info you know? So if you're looking for your surgeon to be your best friend, she's not it. But once again, results are really really good and I would absolutely recommend. Especially bc her wait time is wayyyy shorter than other top surgeons. :)

I was surprised to read the negative reviews. I thought Dr Zorn was great. I had a strange lump develop on my back. She looked at it one day and it was removed the next. I found her and her staff to be thorough, helpful, friendly and prompt. Really.... what else does one want????

I came to this site again to get contact information for Dr Zorn. I'm recommending her to a friend because I believe she is the best by far. My husband , a Family physician, first heard about her from a grateful patient who had a breast reduction . He practiced 1 hour outside of GTA. After that, Dr Zorn became his first referral choice for his patients. They all appreciated her and loved their result. Ultimately, I had the same surgery and then my daughter and daughter in law. 5years later I am still thrilled, and about to suggest her to a friend from Scarboro.
I was horrified to see these petty, immature comments on this site so I have to share the truth as I have experienced it. Yes, you'll wait, but wouldn't you wait for the best?

To the two Zorn worshipers below submitted June 19th and July 3rd let me remind you both this is a site for people to voice THEIR experiences with Dr Zorn so whether you agree with them or not it is THEIR experience and it's not for you to criticize and call them names. First of all I was the one who made a comment about her age and rightly so. The picture she has on her site shows at least 20 years younger than what she is in person. This is false advertising. Again I was not expecting to find someone in their old age when I showed up to her office so keep your "ugh" to yourself. This is MY opinion which I am entitled to. She should have a picture of of how she looks today so no-one is shocked when they see her. I am not a sensitive person and do not need hand holding but I do expect to be treated with respect and for her to respect my time. This is not too much to ask of her. When she is putting patients in before me who have appointments after me that is not acceptable. Why is her/their time any more important than mine?? It's not.....we are all busy. The one star reviews from "entitled Scarborough residents" are justified. Again that is their/my experience with her. I don't need my feet kissed by her. What I need and expect is a doctor who treats her patients with respect, respects their time, and doesn't behave like she is God herself. There are many good doctors out there who can do the job just as good as her and who also know how to speak to their patients in a decent way. As a lot of people have said, she is rude, dismissive, lacks empathy, patience and is just plain mean. If you both are okay with a doctor like that then good for you but don't come on here ridiculing patients who have had a bad experience with her and want to share with others. UGH!!!

AVOID. Been one and only time a few days ago, overheard a secretary rescheduling three appointments. The two women she talked to all sweetly and informally were given first thing appointments the next day, while the other women (who was called between the other two) was addressed distantly and told she has to wait a WHOLE MONTH for the new appointment.
Honestly though, if you are going to take longer for certain appointments (like breast surgeries and other serious procedures) you should have your secretaries book the times more appropriately so everyone else doesn't overfill the tiny waiting room. Making people wait under the whole "it is worth it because she is so skilled" BS is not professional at all. Pretty much guaranteed you will have 5 to 7 people ahead. The same happened to me as others who were pushed back so someone booked after them goes in first.

FYI she is only nice and polite to those in "the circle" (aka regular clients and the mommy daughter crew) who are the major reason its so slow, thanks to their socializing. If you aren't, then she's cold and dismissive.
