Biography

Dr. Lara Aitken ​ ~Fl. licensed Acupuncture Physician. Doctor of Oriental Medicine. Attended The Florida College of Integrative Medicine and graduated in 2002. Holds a Bachelor of Professional health studies, and a Master of Oriental Medicine degree. ~ Certified Hypno-therapist ~ Yoga Instructor ~ Master Life Coach. ~ Certified Herbalist in American and Chinese Herbs. ~ Reiki Practitioner ~ Healing Touch Practitioner ~ Certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy/Biopuncture, including vitamin and herbal injections. ~ Former Fl. licensed Massage Therapist. Attended Wood Hygienic Institute and graduated in 1995. Some modalities studied Thai, Reflexology and Shiatsu. Working professionally since 1995 in Florida. At a young age I knew I needed to help others heal. I began to study and use Healing Energy. As I got older I wanted to study physical medicine but was not sure of my direction. As time passed and after a bad car accident I found Acupuncture and Holistic Medicine which helped immensley with my recovery. It was at that point I knew this was my direction. This event lead me to study Oriental Medicine which in turn opened so many other doors of study for me such as Hypnosis, Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga, Meditation andHerbal Studies.
