Dr. Amatuzzi takes the time to understand each patient's individual situation, and the care to work them up very carefully. I have an unusual set of vision issues after a medical accident. Dr. Amatuzzi took the time to explain and discuss my options, and helped me achieve the most satisfactory vision I've had in over ten years.

I brought my 12 year old daughter for her first eye doctor visit. I was apprehensive and was not quite sure what to expect. We were both very pleasantly surprised. Dr. George was wonderful and my daughter just loved him. She said, "I learned so much about my eyes and he was so cool and fun." He was very nice, approachable and knowledgeable. The little girl is getting her glasses today and is very excited! I appreciated the education Dr. George gave my daughter about the responsibility associated with wearing eyeglasses. Overall, it was a very good experience and I was happy to be able to be serviced within my own community.

I was diagnosed with MS Jan '13. This doctor gave me hope/direction/compassion. I've never met him in my life, and he drove to my family home (three towns away from his office in Ridgefield) to explain to them his helpful thoughts and insights (personalized). He printed out lists of support groups. Eyes are a nervous business. Don't be nervous with this man. He got me to focus on what was important to me.

Dr Amatuzzi is a very knowledgeable doctor and a really great guy! He is always willing to speak to you in laymans terms regarding your eyes. He is always smiling and makes you at ease. His staff are equally as knowledgeable and personable as well. They are their to personalize your appointment and will assist in you choosing the appropriate eyewear. Dr Amatuzzi will be my eye doctor for a long time!
