I love Dr. Chen. She is smart and thinks outside the box. Some Drs. have tunnel vision or only know their specialty. The staffs job is to keep the office running efficiently and they do. Remember it also is a business and Dr Chen does have a life outside of the office. I think all 3 are wonderful.

Dr Chen has an excellent knowledge in psychiatry and I feel this is mainly due to her innate ability to really care by listening to her patients.If you really care mixed with her deep care you will see results!She is worth the wait!

The idiot red haired so called receptionist thinks she is a security guard and will not even let a patient with an emergency speak to Dr Chen!!!

Dr. Tammy Chen has always been their for me. She also takes care of some of my other family members. She is kind caring and respectful. I have seen a few negative comments, that is to be expected. But if you are not treating these patients you really shouldn't have a say! One about a wreck? I know some of this story due to personal reasons. No patient was not overly medicated! For someone to make a statement pertaining to that they would have to have medical records and be this person's therapist. Which they were not. When you state a professional opinion of another doctor you better have facts! Now I have been in Dr Chen's care 9 years she had done nothing but HELP ME! I AM DRUG TESTED, CALLED AND HAVE TO KEEP MY APPOINTMENTS. SHE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYTHING BUT CARING AND PROFESISONAL . Some reviews are due to having to wait etc.. but remember all offices have bad days!! Nothing is perfect but making statements about things you know nothing about is WRONG AND CAN GET YOURSELF IN A SITUATION YOU DONT NEED TO BE IN. ONLY WRITE WHAT YOU HAVE HEARD AND SAW IN SC THAT IS THE LAW!!

Does not know how to deal with substance abuse patients. Caused a terrible accident and a hospital stay by overprescribing strong medications and not checking on how patient was reacting to and if patient was using medication as prescribed.

Personally, I LOVE Dr. Chen and her staff!! Maybe the patient below should be a little more knowledgeable regarding her insurance! You can't see Dr's for free! You must pay your bills unfortunately. But I will say, you definitely get what you pay for! She has done so much for me anytime I have needed it (ie: written letters, and disability paperwork filled out on her own time) She truly cares about her patients. The office manager and billing coordinator in her office are also helpful and have always been nothing but wonderful to me. Sounds like the person below may need some anger management :) Hope you find yourself some help soon. THANK YOU DR CHEN AND STAFF...YOU ARE ALL GREAT!!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Chen for a while now, but I am no longer a patient as of today. I had an appointment to be seen by her and I was told that I had a ridiculous balance. I have medical insurance and I was told that I should not have a po-pay with this company and every time I return, there is always some random bill. I was not able to pay all of the amount on today. The fact that I heard whispering in their little office when I questioned MY balance and the fact that they had me waiting, knowing that I was not going to be seen by Dr. Chen because of a balance has me baffled. They have let me see her before when I had a balance. (be consistent) They had me sitting for an extra 20 minutes when they called me back to talk about my insurance. They also told me that if I did not pay the remaining balance that Dr. Chen was not going to see me. They knew that from the beginning, so why have me sitting and waiting while I watched other people come in after me and go straight back? Not professional at all. I really liked going to Dr. Chen, but she may need to work on a little professionalism.

A very welcoming office staff, they are very caring. Dr. Chen is very helpful, understanding and a great doctor.
