This has to be the worst doctor of any kind I have ever seen. I saw her years ago and still can not escape her memory. Cold, aloof, pretends to care. Finally at my last appointment with her, I told the receptionist I didn't know if I could take her anymore. The receptionist told her and she didn't even have the guts to talk to me about it or approach me at all. Chicken.

She prescribed my father a medication that had induced a manic episode in the past. My mom begged and pleaded that she wouldn’t. She ignored the pleas, dispensed the medication, and my father delved into his worst episode yet, killing himself. She throws whatever medication at her patients with no consideration for how it might impact them. Then she gets to go home to her family at night. When I want to visit mine, I have to go to the cemetery. Avoid her at all costs.

My biggest regret in life is ever walking into this woman’s office Not only did she make me see one of the kook therapist in her office ( Who hated men and seemed to think I should divorce my husband) in order to be a patient in her practice but she prescribed me a benzodiazepine class drug and got me hooked on it, without telling me it was an addictive drug. She get me no warnings about how dangerous this drug is. Years later I am still trying to taper myself off of it with another psychiatrists help. My current physician has said Dr Ross was a know “Pill Mill practice” please be careful if you currently see this dr she is dangerous!!!

Dr Ross prescribed me klonopin for panic and anxiety attacks. I stabilized very quickly, but she made no exit plan to transition to a antidepressant with a taper off the benzo. If fact she mentioned that I might have to remain on the Klonopin for the rest of my life. That’s rediciulous by today’s protocols. She never explained the dangers of benzodiazepines to me or my husband. This woman might be the most dangerous person I have ever met. Beware, be careful, be informed. Doctors can dangerous and ignorant.

Dr. Ross closed her practice in Fayetteville in 2012, I received a letter in the mail that she was closing her practice very shortly after I moved away from the area. I'm unsure if the 2014 review is related to that fact. Dr. Ross was very good at helping me manage my bipolar disorder while she was in practice.

Although Dr. Ross is highly intelligent and knowledgeable, I'm not sure she really considers the client's best interest. I arrived for a regular therapy appointment and both Dr. Ross and my therapist escorted me to the Dr.'s office. I was informed I was being terminated. I do not recall any reason being given, but then again I was crying uncontrollably. She scribbled a phone number for me as a referral. This happened while I was in the middle of a manic episode and clearly in crises. I was abandoned, mid-crises, and left vulnerable, confused, and emotionally devastated.

Creepy dark office. Staff will not aknowledge you when you come into office. Dr. NEVER makes eye contact with you. However, if you want to get in and get out quick, she is your doctor. She was on the computer my entire visit and was very efficient in handing me percriptions in a 3 minute office visit, that I timed. I am not sure who is crazier, her or me. Would make a perfect setting for a horror movie.

Dr Ross is an excellent doctor, if you know what's wrong with yourself. She's an MD, not a PHD, She doesn't do talk therapy. If something is wrong with your meds, and you aren't sure what it is, she will keep on trying to find the combo that your head needs to keep one sane.

I saw Dr. Ross b/c I am new to the area and needed a Dr. to continue w/my depression medication management. The first appt she kept me 15 min tops - didn't even ask for my history or why I was on medication. The second appt I was there for 5 min tops. She only seemed interested in giving me prescription refills and taking my $30 co-pay for a 5 min visit. This is unethical in my opinion. Won't be going back.
