As my OB for my 3 pregnancies I couldn’t have been in better hands. She’s not an alarmist and remained cool and calm through the emergency c-section with my first child. I truly connected with her and loved her... still do, BUT- as my gynecologist I was very frustrated. She was very thorough with my annual exams and colposcopy, but took several years of ‘issues’ and lots of hoops before she performed a laparoscopy (as she was convinced I had PCOS, though she was strictly guessing and performed no tests or ultrasound to support her theory.) After the laparoscopy she was surprised by what she found in terms of adhesions, endometriosis and endometriomas. I had many questions at our post surgery appointment, and knowing her well enough to know how uncomfortable she can get answering questions, I had written her a letter in order to give her time to process my questions so that she didn’t get overwhelmed or frazzled. When I arrived for my appointment she began by saying that she got my letter and would not have time to answer my questions. I was heart broken, as I was very loyal to her and my health was literally in her hands and discounted. She did share some follow up options for me, but it was a very different doctor than the one who delivered my babies. My take away is that she prefers delivering babies, she’s a skilled surgeon and great in a crisis. However, I had to make the decision to change doctors, because I needed someone who could and would communicate with me about my health and needs. As an OB, I’d give her 4.5 stars. As a Gyn- 2 stars.
She was my doctor for 15+ years and I knew Mary Jo, her nurse, when she started there. She was a very kind and joyful nurse. However, nearer the end of my time there the receptionist staff was constantly turning over and Mary Jo seemed to lose her joy. It makes me sad. I love and appreciate these women, but I’m glad I changed doctors where I received the communication and treatment/surgery I needed.

Outstanding physician. Dr. Bavishi is an experienced doctor who provides excellent care, up-to-date information, and personal attention. The office is clean and efficient and the entire staff is friendly, capable, and seem to genuinely care about their patients. She gets my highest recommendation.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. I had an ectopic pregnancy. She looked at my sonogram and said she couldn't. See it so it must not be big enough to be life threatening. She made me get a shot to remove the pregnancy and told me there was no other options. Well I had already been bleedin for a month when this occured. The next day the pain was so unbearable I went to the ER . They admitted me to the hospital. Thank God Dr Peck was the on call obgyn that day. While he was reviewing my file she came in to see me and told me I was dumb for coming to the hospital and not to be such a baby its supposed to hurt. Exact words!!! Dr.Peck came in after she left having just looked at the same sonogram she did. He calmly told me my fallopian tube had clearly erupted and I was bleeding internally also. I would have to have laproscopic surgery immediately. If I would have kept listening to that uncaring nonhuman I would have died at home leaving my son motherless!

I saw Dr. Bavishi twice and, unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative comments that I am reading just now. I wish I could have found a great Gynecologist but she and her staff are horrible. They lack communication skills, empathy and are very rude. They need some serious training of how to interact with patients. I think they forgot that we pay for the consultation therefore we need to know the diagnostic.

I saw Dr. Bavishi with my first child 9 years ago, and had no issues. She was professional and confidant. She is not a "warm and fuzzy" type of doctor so if that's what you are looking for, yes, you will be disappointed. However, don't sell her short. I became pregnant again recently and went to see her and she and her staff were warm and congratulatory. Not only that but she called me herself , and when she got voicemail, called back the next day, just to tell me my blood tests came back normal. I get that some people may not mesh with her style but a doctor that doesn't care, doesn't do that.

I don't believe any of these negative reviews!!! You can't please everyone and you can fix ignorant, arrogant people. Dr. Bavishi is a great doctor. I drive an hour and 15 minutes just to see her. She listens to your questions, she answers your questions. Her staff is EXCELLENT as well. When your test result come back, Dr. Bavishi calls you with the results herself, she does not have her nurses call you. My appointments are always on time, I'm seen right away and she gives you all the time in the world to answer any questions you have. She is getting ready to give me my hysterectomy. Thanks to her for sending me to a Urologist to see if my bladder might need to be lifted while I am in surgery. Sure enough the Urologist said, my bladder has to be lifted during my hysterectomy and he works well with Dr. Bavishi and they will both be doing surgery at the same time. Had she not sent me to a Urologist first, I would be having to have another surgery within a year to lift my bladder. Thanks to her quick thinking, both surgeries will be performed at the same time. She has saved me money by doing this and has kept me from having to have another surgery down the road. She is always pleasant and so is her staff. I am blessed to have her for my doctor!!!

I have been to Dr. Bavishi's office several times for various procedures. I was concerned after leaving so many negative reviews when I went in for my first visit, but I have nothing but good things to say. Never have I waited more than five minutes in the waiting room, and never have I been unable to get someone on the phone to answer any inquiries or to assist in setting up or rescheduling appointments.

I find Dr. Bavishi to be friendly, and she takes her time to explain things in detail if you so choose to listen. She's also extremely fast with what she does, so you won't spend a long time with your feet unnecessarily up in the stirrups.

Dr. Bavishi's office is not handicapped accessible. The entry doorway to the restroom and examining rooms are very narrow. There are no grab bars or assist rails in the restroom. There is nothing to assist an elderly patient in getting on the examining table. We were told if my mother could not get on the table, we would have to find another doctor who had a lift table. My mother was left sitting on the exam table with nothing to support her back. If you are handicapped or elderly, do not expect to get assistance from the nurse.

Back when I was in Kansas I saw her for my first pregnancy which turned out to be a miscarriage. She examined me and told me I had a couple of cysts and proceeded to push on them causing intense pain. She said, "It's fine, they are just draining a little." I told her about all the bleeding I was having and didn't say anything at all. She never really told me if anything was wrong at all. I went back to her a week later when the bleeding increased and she didn't even examine me that time. She came to me and said, "Here take this pill." I asked, "What does that pill do?" She told said, "Just take the pill." My husband insisted, "What IS that pill?" She said, "It'll help end all the bleeding." I asked, "Okay, will it hurt the baby." She said, "It will make it all go away." I started raising my voice, "Are you telling me that's an abortion pill!?!" She said, "It'll make the baby absorb into you making it all easier." I said, "We don't even know if its all a lost cause, at least you didn't tell me that." She said, "Are you going to take the pill?" I said, "No!" and my husband and I walked out. The woman tried to get me to abort the baby without any explanation. At that point I didn't know if I was for sure miscarrying...at least she didn't inform me of that at the time. I went to For Women Only and had a fantastic doctor who explained everything that was going on and told me that , "Yes you are miscarrying due to your Oneg blood type not matching up with the baby's and not getting the shot you needed." Dr. Bavishi wanted me to kill my baby without even telling me what was happening or what that pill even was.
