Dr. Akizuki is the best orthopedic surgeon around. He is patient, very personnable, & has a great bedside manner. He is the SF Giants team orthopedic surgeon & is only 44yrs. old, so that says it all as far as how good a doctor he is. Best of all he always calls you personally just to make sure all your questions were answered after an appt. His staff sucks, but that has no effect on his skill as a doctor. I would have him operate on me in a second if I ever need another knee surgery. (hopefully I won't!) Just be prepared to wait when you see him. I see that as a good thing if that many people want to go to him.
