I would not recommend her to anyone. I visited her a few years back and I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor in my life. I routinely get strep throat into my early 20's every year so I know the signs. I went in and explained I believe that I have strep and that I wanted antibiotics to treat it. She preforms a rapid strep test on me and it comes back negative. She then proceeds to tell me "well, you are high risk aren't you?" confused I asked for what? She then made an assumption that I was homosexual (which I am however we never discussed sexual health or about that aspect of my life before) and told me that my lifestyle is high risk for HIV/AIDS and that since the rapid strep test was negative, that is the only other thing she could think of. She then proceeded to tell me that I should come back on Monday , three days later, to get blood work done to rule HIV/AIDS out of the picture. I left the office absolutely terrified and crying. I had to go purchase an at home test to put my mind at ease only to get a call back from her office on Saturday saying "your lab results for strep are in and its positive". This was a few years back and I am now just discovering this website, however this experience has stuck with me and makes me very uneasy about seeking medical care.
