I can see why I have been told by so many different and independent sources that Dr McHenry is easily in the top 5 cardiologists in the state of Utah and western U.S. This cardiologist will actually sit down and look at you while talking with you and listen to your concerns in a way that shows how much he genuinely cares about you and what you are going through. Even when he is extremely busy, he acts like for that moment, you are the only person on his schedule. I just can't say enough about the kindness in his eyes and personality. He is extremely knowledgable in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine (as evidenced by his maintainance of Board Certificartions in 5 (five) specialties and clearly keeps up with the latest information and medical judgement always accurate. He was even able to figure out my chronic Effusive-Constrictive Pericarditis when multiple other cardiologists in Utah could not, and then find the right medical treatment while he worked me in to the best heart surgeon to perform the delicate surgery to fix it. He even diagnosed my friend's Polymyalgia Rheumatica with Temporal Arteritis. The rheumatologist he referred her to at the University Hospital was quite surprised that a cardiologist would/could do that. I could really go on and on, but really just can't say enough good things about Dr. McHenry.

Wonderful bedside manner. Genuinely and outwardly cares. Extremely knowledgable about almost any concern I had not only related to my heart but my health in general and always seemed on top of all the latest information and his insights always turn out to be right on in time. Was able to diagnose the narrowing of my pulmonic valve when no one else would look for it and my friend's Cushing syndrome and small pituitary tumor also when no one else looked. I just love him and would not go to anyone else.
